Yeah I missed the dinner because no one bothered to tell me about it!
Oh well the buffet at the Luxor wasn't so bad. Next time I'll know.

Well, that's what you get for not hanging around till 9pm like the rest of us, and then returning at 11pm and staying another 3 hours to clean up. :P
We were just more efficent.
Actually the plan was to get out of there quickly and we were going to dump my protos, but it never worked out that way.

That's because you didn't have the entire museum to pack up.
I think I now appreciate what these guys do every year even more..
*STANDING OVATION*
As I remember I wasn't ALLOWED in the museum after hours because I didn't have anything in there. With all my prototypes and years of dedication they're afraid I might steal something?!?!

Whats hot for me:
-The museum! I always love looking at everything in there.
-FREE arcade games were nice.
-Having a room with a great view of the Freemont experience.
-The noisy air conditioner in my room.
-Carnival buffet at the Rio twice! Yummy! Just never go there for lunch on a Sunday....you get stuck with ridiculous brunch pricing.
-Celebrity car auction at the Palms hotel. Got my picture with one of the General Lee's and a Night Rider. Not to mention all of the Ferrari's, Lambos and a ton of other 'exotic' or famous cars and bikes.
-The weather. I swear it was the coolest weather I have ever felt in Vegas. It really made the nights nice imo.
Whats not so hot...
-Pricing on the items at the booths. I don't know I could be wrong..but if you are flying or driving all the way out to Vegas for this thing, I'd wish that they would charge less than ebay prices. Especially the atari2600.com and gameswitch booths. I got a real good laugh when I saw that beat up looking copy of Dragonball Z GT for $385 at the gameswitch booth.
-Maybe its just me but I didn't really see anything that I HAD to have this year. In fact I ended up only buying one thing at the show...the High Score book at the Atariage booth. I still find it ironic I went to a game convention and only bought a book.
-The traffic ALL the way home to LA from Vegas Sunday. Dear god I'll never do that again. Stop and go almost the whoooole way home.
As you can probably notice I didn't spend terribly too much time there at the show. I was only there in the mornings for a little bit each day, and at the auction for maybe an hour. All in all though I did enjoy it. I always do. And I do plan on being there again next year...hopefully.
@Zemmix: did you introduce yourself to anyone there? We had name badges for you and deadtech but the two of you never appeared (announced) at the DP booth! What's the deal, mystery man?
