I am wondering if anyone can recommend what temperature games and systems should be stored at. The fall and winter are approaching where I live and I want to make sure that my stuff doesn't get to cold and get damaged. Any ideas?

Interesting question. Well, it's always between 65-70 degrees in my house, and all of my stuff has always been fine. Some of it is in some bedroom closets in which the temp is probably more like 50...and those are fine too. As long as it is not sweltering hot or below zero freezing (ie: storing things in an outside shed)...well I think you should be fine.
I was thinking of storing it in the garage attached to my house. I am willing to pay for a heated storage unit somewhere to avoid risking it as I don't know exactly how cold it will get in there but I like to have my games close at hand and not in some storage unit.
I'd be most concerned with the condensation that occurs because of fluctuation in temperatures. Or "just" damage from dampness.
The garage is not damp and would not have any water inside of it but with outside temperatures that could reach 0 degrees f. I would worry that the garage could get down to the 40's or so.
I'm fairly sure that you don't have to worry about higher temps as long as it's not hot enough to cause damage in a physical sense such as warping/melting ect. Cold isn't going to hurt anything... save for condensation. Pretty much as long as the storage temperature is stable or changes infrequently and gradually you should be fine. Humidity and direct sunlight are the cheif concerns. Might want to throw a dehumidifier in there as well. Winters are usually dryer than other seasons, but not always. It depends on your locality too. You may need one or you might not.
