Been thinking about getting it, havent seen any info/reviews on it besides a couple short Genesis previews in early EGM mags. I dont have the issue that reviews it (if they ever did).
Little help?

I remember playing it, and I don't remember being overly impressed with it.
The only thing I really remember is that announcer saying "Last Lap" with a southern accent.

Well from what the previews said, you'd race different tracks around the world, & the race anncr would have an accent from that country (Australia, Middle East, southern USA, etc)
Is it a fun little racer worth a few bucks?

Here's a mini-review that Super Play magazine gave to Road Riot:
Nothing more to say, really. All the warning signs started and ended with the 'THQ' written up there.Road Riot 4WD
THQ / 49.99 / 4 Mbit
Considering how many great Super Nintendo games there are out there, whoever picks the stuff for official UK release must have an extremely warped sense of humour. Road Riot is an appalling split-screen, two-player buggy thing, 'boasting' some of the most jerky, confusing 3D graphics ever seen, a non-existent difficulty curve, and a diabolical road effect. In fact, Road Riot's only claim to fame is that it's probably the worst driving game ever released on the Super NES. Needless to say, avoid.

I paid $2 or so for my copy. It gets repetitive after a while and hasn't aged well. The cartoonish stereotypical race hosts were pretty lame too. However, the game was still decent enough that I didn't miss the money spent. It's worth a look for the $2-$3 it usually goes for, but don't spend more.
Heh, I think that's all I need to know. Thx for the info gang!
