Did anyone see Vectrex Joust at CGE this year?
I must have missed the demo.

Man is a gaming animal. He must always be trying to get the better in something or other.
I'm not sure if it was one of the demos that Chris had on his VecFlash, I don't recall seeing it in the menu. I got to play it last year at Eurocon, highly impressive in demo form but doubtful Alex is gonna finish it for the obvious possible legal reasons.
Mind you, I did get to play Vectrexians and VecPilot, and both were also very good... those will be released in due time.
Vectrexians loooked great! I hope to buy it soon.
VecPilot sounds interesting, will have to check it out.
Thanks

Maybe rename the flying bird battle game?
Just checked out Vec Pilot, and it looks great! One of my favorite classic arcade games possibly coming to the Vectrex!

May not be finished, but the sand cartridge is unique.

What on earth?!
Any story behind that...?
Sorry Folks. Joust Evolution by Alex Nicholson didn't make it this year. The project timeline to get it over to CGE ran into a few snags.
The demos I was able to show were Vectrexians and Vector Pilot. Both of those by Kristof Tuts

This is one Vectrex games that I would like to get. Any idea of when it might be released?
All the rights to "Joust Evolution" by Alex Nicholson were auctioned off in Nov of 2007 but funny how a guy named "Mayhem" ended up winning that auction. I was greatly anticipating that game. I wonder if anyone will ever get to see more of it that just a couple seconds....
That guy named "Mayhem" happens to be me
While the game is in perpetual limbo (and it will never be released), I do plan to try and make a video some day just to show off how far (or how un-far) Alex had gotten into coding the game. To satisfy people wondering what might have been...
I figured. That would be cool. There's still interest in Mail Plane and Vec Fu even in their unfinished states.
