Default Harvest Moon 3 GBC Question, need help

This is a kindof odd thing and I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I need to verify whether or not my Harvest Moon 3 GBC is in fact a original game, I recently sold this on eBay and the bidder came to me recently saying that it may be a fake (I still have game, wasn't sent out yet).

He seems to be basing this mostly off the fact the "stock photo" of the game box that appears everywhere looks different from mine (only minor differences), the game is still factory sealed (has seam across the back).

From my experiences stock photos are usually mockups and are not always what the final product will look like, I've done a lot of searching to find an actual picture of the game box that someone owns but have come up empty.

I need help to find an actual picture of the original Harvest Moon 3 GBC box so I can verify whether or not mine is indeed a original or a fake.

Here is the stock photo that seems to appear everywhere:

Here is a picture of my game:

I'm finding it extremely hard that mine is a fake simply because it is far too accurate, more accurate than any fake I've ever seen.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, since I'm sortof at a loss and my searching is turning up nothing

No clue, but i'm shimmying this to classic gaming where it belongs.

Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Sorry about that, guess I'm too old and still consider classic stuff pre NES lol

Thanks for shimming it to where it belongs

That's original. Stock photos are hardly a representation of accuracy for games.

The only difference I see that there is no logo on the bottom right, which isn't something that's very odd at all. Don't worry what the person on e-bay says, it's completely legit.

Maybe its a later run of the game after the GBA was released?

I am going to go with this, because they did re release the GB versions of 1 and 2 again with different box art.

Totally fine, thats why us mods are here. We treat anything pre PS2 as classic. Yes thats a 'little' bit of a stretch, but taking 'modern' as stuff that you can still walk into most stores and buy as new and are supported by current companies is where we're drawing the line at this point in time.

Thanks for all the replies, I sure it is an original myself but I just wanted to make sure of this first.

I just wish I could find more pictures of the actual box to confirm it but it would probably just be the same.

    Thanks again ^..^
