Can you use the RF adapter box from an NES with a ColecoVision and an Intellivision? I am finally getting around to testing some stuff I bought and neither one of these has the RF box. Thanks.

No, they need a manual switchbox like the one the Atari 2600 and 7800 use. Of course the best alternative is to use a phono to type F adapter, you can grab one at Radio Shack for a couple bucks. Basically you plug the RF cord from the system into the adapter and then it becomes a coaxial lead. It also tends to give a clearer picture than using a joystick era switchbox.
More details here, first option. If you're missing the cable any phono cable (RCA plug) will work between the system and the adapter. Of course this will occupy the coaxial input on your TV, that's where the old standby of the A/B switchbox comes in. I have A set up to be my cable line in and B set up to take whatever joystick era console I have set up at the time.

Thanks much. According to the Radio Shack web site, my local store has them in stock, so I'll check tomorrow. BTW, I found a replacement for my missing X'Eye power supply. Until I find a real one, I am going to use the one from my Sega CDX. It is also rated at 9.5v @ 1.5A.
