I think I remember seeing shitload of sealed SMB3 at a Walmart a few years ago so it can't be that rare.
Another day, another dollar... wake me when it's payday.
still playing games
SMB3 sealed just can't be rare enough to warrant $100. Look how many were (rumored) to be made!
From my end, I found 2 sealed at a local KMart 2-3 years ago for $5 each. I'm sure there are other situations like that.

Why would someone do that? Probably 99% of all games go DOWN in price. It would just be plain stupid to do that.SINCE I PURCHASED THIS
GAME IN 1990 IT HAS BEEN SEALED IN A ZIPLOCK FREEZER BAG.

One thing I can't understand -- if this game was the most popular video game OF ALL TIME, according to the sales, then why has it been the only Mario game NOT to be re-released on either the SNES or the GB? One half of Nintendo seems very smart and the other very stupid.
SMB3 was rereleased on the SNES, in Super Mario All Stars.Originally Posted by SoulBlazer
And as for SMB3 on the GB, just give it time. It will come out eventually IMO.

Just ouit of curiosity, what would the listing fee be to post that auction?
Does the listing price increase the higher the BIN is or are BINs a set price?
BIN's used to be free up till like last year I think, but now they are like 10 or 15 cents, listing by itself shouldn't be more than a few $ (like 2 or 3)Originally Posted by Griking
Of course, I ment to say the Game Boy ONLY -- not including the SNES in that. My bad. I was thinking about the re-releases of Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, and Mario 2 for the GBA and Super Mario Brothers Deluxe for the GBC.
It's too bad Nintendo released each of those GBA carts seperatly -- they should have put them all on one cart. At least with Mario 3 they could get away with doing that on ONE game.
After all, Sega put the first three Phantasy Star games on one pack -- there's a company who respects how limited money you have.
