Web Based MMORPG's

So I have some friends who have played some neat little web based MMORPG's. I've never tried any, but was wondering if anyone here has or has any suggestions of good free web based MMORPG's.

ive played quite a few and found them to all be kinda lacking but i think by and far the most popular one would be runescape

Yeah, I play Runescape occasionally. I only have a free membership, which is VERY lacking. To get the most out of that game you have to sign up for the paid membership. It isn't very expensive ($5), but I just don't ever want to sign up.

Check my sig. oth of my characters used to be in the top 10. It's Nowhere Else and Beyond. Veyr fun game that lets you create your own island, fill it with quests, and all of it becomes part of the game. It's like an RPG wiki. Lol.
