    Hell no.

Unless the game is good enough that I have the desire to do so, otherwise it's on to the next.

If your referring to finishing the entire story/single player game, yeah I try and do that. I will say though that ever since Microsoft introduced Achievements in their games, I've found myself the same game more than I regularly would have.

    Default hmmmm...

Nope. I loved Mass Effect, but no way I am committing the time to play it again. There are too many good games to obsess over little details or Achievement Points, IMO.

Not at all, if I enjoy a game I might play through it multiple times, but very seldom do i take the time to get 100%

Take the GTA series for example, I've played through the trilogy many times, but never bothered to get the full 100% on them. I'd rather have fun over seeking out every hidden package/item/whatever.

I'm lucky if I beat the game, let alone fully complete it, since I have ADD when it comes to games.

Not usually, but I will for specific games- i.e. ones beginning with the word 'Mario'.

I normally don't beat a game where I have done everything. Normally I will play until I finish the story, and then move onto a new game, and if I liked it enough I will play through it again eventually. One new age example to this is God of War. I have played through it probably three or four times now. But there is no way I will play through it on God Mode just for the satisfaction of finishing it completely.

But, one exception to that rule would be Suikoden 1 and 2, but especially 1. I have played through that game more than any other game I own, or will ever own. I have done pretty much everything that there is to do on that game. And, I can still keep playing through it. But, this is the only exception. Unless you count wrestling games where you have to play through everything and do everything in order to unlock all of the wrestlers, moves, or CAW parts, which I hate doing, but I do anyway (I'm looking at you, WWE Smackdown).

Like others here, it depends on how much I'm enjoying the game, but more often then not I finish the story mode and move on to the next bit. In fact, I think Mario 64 and OoT was the last game I got absolutely EVERYTHING in, and I don't think I've done it since. I've yet to even finish a GTA game (I get bored usually at the halfway point). I almost found all the dogtags in MGS2, but the later bonuses just aren't worth the effort.

I'm making my way through Galaxy and it looks like I'll be getting everything in that as I just love the game. I've already beat it though. I'm getting to that point in my life where I barely have time to finish most games so I really have to rush through them. I wish games were shorter.

I only beat a game 100% if I like it enough. I think the last fully completed game I did was Pokemon Blue (All 151 Pokemon) a few months back,.

I play a game until I've had my fill of it. Sometimes it's until it's finished. Sometimes (like GTA 3) it's when I hit 9%. One thing seems to hold true though. Once I'm done playing a game, I'm done with it. I rarely go back to a game once I've moved on to something else.

Mostly no, but there are exceptions. I find that most of the games I beat the living shit out of are games that continually reward you with fun, useful unlockables. For example, I beat Power Stone for the DC with every character, because you unlocked new characters. There's no other reason to play through till the end with the fat guy who's seemingly impossible to beat the last boss with. I did the same with some of the Tony Hawk games before the series went to shit (right around/after 4, for those keeping score at home). For new characters? Yes. For new boards/weapons or costumes? Hell no.

For most games, I have a "hit it & quit it" mentality, unlike Sir Mixalot.

    Lord no.

There are just far too many excellent games for me to have time to complete all of them. I want to get into Mass Effect, but I haven't finished Bioshock yet. It's hard for me to decide whether to start Mass Effect and potentially leave Bioshock in the dust, or whether to finish Bioshock and put off enjoying Mass Effect. Meanwhile, there are literally dozens of other execellent games already in the dust, like Halo 3, F.E.A.R., Beautiful Katamari, Lost Planet, etc.

I've been considering getting a Wii in January, which will just make things even worse in this respect.

With games like Metroid or Castlevania I usually do. In some RPGs I've actually tried to get everything and go through every single quest if the game was good enough.

As is the general consesus, it depends on the game. I do it mostly with rpgs that I like a lot. Most games I beat the put it back on the shelf til I get the random itch to play it again (like GTA every three years or so).

It depends. I do it if the game is addictive. If the game features a long and repetative chore just to get an item (IE: beat one enemy 1000x to get rare items), then I'll pass.

Gah, Pokemon Blue is what turned me off to getting 100% in games. Remember when Nintendo Power published that error that said if you restarted your game you could keep all your Pokemon? Well I had 147 on my file and decided (just because I was getting bored) that I would play the game again.

Hahaha. Restarted the game and, of course, lost ALL my Pokemon. I can still remember desperately sorting through all the boxes hoping they were in there somewhere.

    Default Final Fantasy VII

The only game that I have ever beaten completely at 110% was Final Fantasy VII. I've probably played through the whole game about 10 or so times. On both platforms PC and PS1.

    Also the First Katamri Damacy.
