2007 Otto Awards: The Nomination Thread
So we decided to take a year off in 2006-but we've re-focused and returned better than before for 2007. Its been a banner year for gaming, and there's no better way to reward exceptional titles than with the Otto Award!
The time-honored tradition at Digital Press re-boots in 2007 as we invite everyone to cast their nominations in various video gaming categories. Though there's still some time left in the year, we'll start the nominatin' here and do the actual voting starting January 9th.
We've decided to expand the voting a bit this year by implementing member suggestions and offering individual game-of-the-year polls for each console currently on the market. Additionally, sound and graphics have been broken down into distinct categories.
Cut and paste this list of categories and give us your nominations. Everyone should be able to participate here - just choose categories that you know well. Due to board restraints, only the top 10 nominated titles for each category will go into the poll for final voting.
Hopefully apparent - your nominations should be cast for games that were actually RELEASED in 2007, not existing titles you played for the first time this year.
