My rarest piece is certainly my original Sonic Crackers prototype cartridge. I acquired this cart from a friend of mine who was very active in the Atari proto scene in the mid 90's. He got the cart as a "freebie" when he purchased a large lot of Atari protos around 1996/97. I have been offered some serious cash for this, but I will never sell it.
My rarest item would have to be a prototype of Cyraid for the Gameboy.

These can sometimes go for $100 ( I think)When Nintendo discovered this product, they began taking strong legal action against importers and sellers of the consoles, and have obtained a temporary injunction against the import and sale of video game systems containing counterfeit versions of Nintendo games.
As of Spring 2005, NrTrade quit selling these products, however they still retain stock by other companies. These are still in production in China by Eittek but not massively distributed. On December 16, 2005, the FBI executed search warrants at two kiosks at the Mall of America and also searched storage facilities rented by Yonathan Cohen, 27, an owner of Perfect Deal LLC of Miami, Florida.[1] The consoles, purchased wholesale at $7 to $9 each, sold for $30 to $70 each.[2] After confiscating 1,800 units of Power Player, each containing 76 copyrighted video-game titles belonging primarily to Nintendo or its licensees, Cohen was charged in Minneapolis, Minnesota in January 2005 with federal criminal infringement of copyright for selling Power Player video games at kiosks at the Mall of America and other malls across the nation.[1] In April 2005, Cohen pleaded guilty to selling pirated video games.[2]
Nine days after Cohen's guilty plea, 40 FBI agents arrested four Chinese nationals working in an international piracy ring and seized 60,000 pirated Nintendo Power Player consoles in searches in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Maple Shade, New Jersey.[3][4]
In November 2005, Cohen was sentenced to five years in federal prison and required to run ads in mall magazines to tell the public how he illegally sold knockoff video games at Mall of America kiosks.[5]
Several shopping malls quit selling these products but despite that the product is still sold by other dealers
The only thing I am missing is the light gun. And not to long ago, I was in my room on my computer. Then I started smelling something, And to come to find out, that the Power Adapter for this thing MELTED. Yes thats right, Melted. Stupid made in china plastic.

Story Machine (Vic-20) - an R8 in the DP guide. Not overly valuable but still a cool fine. I think my next rarest games are a few R6s.

According to the DP rarity guide, it would be Melody Master for Vectrex. I only paid like $6 for that game, so I would've never known.
Well, there are some hard core collectors here so maybe my stuff is nothing compared to a prototype of Zelda or things like that.
I have a complete copy of the Gold Punch Out cart
I have Alien Soldier, Eliminate Down, Twinkle Tale & Gley Lancer for the Megadrive all in an almost like new shape. In fact, the only one who isn't totally like new is ED.
I also have a complete, like new Panzer Dragoon Saga that I like very much!
Shining Force III premium disk factory sealed.
Zelda's Adventure complete for the CD-I.
Rondo Of Blood for PC-E.
And some Famicom games complete like Gimmick!, Hebereke...

I don't really have any rare stuff, but I guess the rarest game I have is Clayfighter Sculptor's Cut with the box. No manual.
I don't really own any rare games, maybe Bangai-O for the DC... I never really saw that one on the shelves too much. I do have:
Sonic 10th Anniversary pack that came with a pre-order for Sonic Adventure 2. It is blue with gold foil embossing and comes with a gold Sonic coin, history of Sonic mini-book and a cd with popular soundtrack tuneage from various games in the series.
I also have a personally autographed copy of Tommy Tallarico's "Games Greatest Hits 2" cd, which I ordered direct from his studio years ago.

Hehe, same here. If I had to choose some, I'd say my 3DO M2 stuff, my lot of N-Gage promo/beta/press stuff, and a beta of Youngblood for PlayStation, which I'm especially proud of because of the way it was made available to me (though that story doesn't belong here). And perhaps my Game Boy Light - Famitsu Limited Edition.
