    2) the Simpsons (PS3) - only about 63% completion percentage, though. Going to try and gather everything and bring it up to 100% (which will take forever).

#4 - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (GBA)
I found this in my collection the other night and realized that I never finished the final battle. It's a great remake of a great game.

    NFL 2K2 (XBox)
-My New England Patriots went 15-1 on their way to a Super Bowl title, losing only to the Colts when I played them waaaaaaay too conservatively on both sides of the ball. My Patriots squad was led by starting quarterback (and ex-NFL first round draft bust) Rick Mirer. I wanted to pick one of the worst quarterbacks in the game to see how my team would fare. I learned that the quarterbacks in the 2K2 game really play up (or down to) their rating, Sega/Visual Concepts really put together a good game here. His (Rick's) completion percentage was barely 50%, Mirer only had 3 more TD's than he did picks, he barely cracked 2,000 passing yards and I ran more than I passed but ultimately Rick Mirer did the job. Bledsoe was the Patriots starting quarterback to open my first season of Franchise mode but I traded him off to help boost the D-Line (and make room for Mirer). I look forward to the next season of Franchise mode with this team and expect to march back to the Super Bowl again, Rick Mirer is still my starter but in case he fizzles out (which could happen), I've got free agent backup Troy Aikman ready to go under center.

    Double Dragon 2 (original Gameboy)
-I beat this in both Easy mode, which cuts off after Level 4, and in Normal mode which allows you to play through to the very end. I had to use the GB's Game Genie though because the very last stage, in which you fight ALL of the bosses from the previous levels in succession before meeting the final boss, is murder. Next, I plan to beat this in Hard mode and once I have done that, I'll probably sell the game and most likely the Game Genie since this is the only GB game I've used it on in the past 10 years.

    1: Summon Night: Swordcraft Story
I beat this game a few days back making as many of the weapons as I could. Is there much to the story after you beat it or do you just go down further and fight more enemies? If anyone could let me know I might keep playing.

    Finished in 2008

    #1: Bioshock (evil ending)
    #2: LOST : Via Domus
    #3: Uncharted : Drake's Fortune
#4: God of War : Chains of Olympus
    #5: Heavenly Sword

I hadn't played through Heavenly Sword since I had picked it up on sale earlier in the year ... I had played the demo, but I was waiting for something, a stretch of free time, or a "good reason". When I picked up the Dual Shock 3 controller this week, that seemed like a good enough reason to play through. Oh, what to say about this game ... what to say ... it's a good example of a company being strongly influenced by a great game (God of War) and at the same time trying desperately to disassociate itself by creating a slightly different control style. The end result is a game that could have been so much better if it just was a by-the-numbers play-alike of God of War ... instead we're left with a above average looking title that suffers from a rock/paper/scissors attack/block/parry control scheme that simply does not work the way that it's designed to (mostly due to AI issues). The camera is also problematic. Not a bad game, but one that could have used another year of development, and not one that I'll ever go back and play through again.

    #2 - 2/28/08 - Earthworm Jim 2 (Sega Genesis)
This game was super fun, I beat it without cheats but used continues/password functions. The last level was pretty tough for me but wasn't so bad once I figured it out.

I finally beat Spiderman and X-men - Arcade's revenge for the Genesis this year. Alas, there was much cheating. If game genie is your style btw gshi.org has the best selection of genie codes around for any system, a multitude of which are new and hacked by members. Anyway, I also finished Wolverine for genesis. I guess January was a good month for shitty X-men games...

Well, lessee... not too much so far this year...

    1. Jean D'Arc (PSP) - I loved this SRPG - in fact, I tried going back to FFT after finishing it and just couldn't... Jean D'Arc does it better, I think. I've got 60+ hours into it!!

    2. Puzzle Quest (PSP) - compulsive little title... A damn sight longer than you'd think if you go off and do all the sidequests (which I did!)...

    3. Symphoney of the Night (PSP) - Only 191.6% at the last save (just before Shaft & Drac) but what the hey, I feel like it's time to move on...

    3) Tetris DS (DS, obviously) on Marathon mode. I'm also only about 10 or so puzzles away from beating puzzle mode.

    #3 - 3/01/08 - Ninja Five-O (GBA)
I beat it on easy.. it was still semi challenging, mine is a bootleg cart called Ninja Cop (I guess thats what it is called in Europe) I found at a Gamestop for $4.99 and I really wanted to play it so I bought it and now the save doesn't work and I didn't wanna play through half the game on normal difficulty today.

My most recent victory was on Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. An excellent continuation to what was formerly known as the Phoenix Wright series, and it was a thorough blast to play. I can see why others were not too fond of the last half-hour or so of the game, but the more I reflect on it, it was a damn good ending. I can't wait for the fifth one, that's for sure!
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!
