got it.does anyone know how long the old Nomad rechargeable battery lasted for? I would like to compare the stats to these new stats using the new rechargeble batteries.

    Cheers

The battery pack that straps to its back you mean? That's not a rechargeable battery. It's just a container for 6 AAs. You can put in alkaline, rechargeable, whatever. With rechargeables, I'd say 2-3 hours on the high side. That's an estimation though, I've never timed it.

I'm guessing it used Ni-Cd batteries? Make sure you replaced them with the same type and that you got the polarities right. I'm afraid I can't be any more help than that. Also, you are correct, Ben Heck is the man.

yeah I very much tried to get the same in batteries. It worked at one point and now wont charge. It might be a waisted mod.. hmm.. anyone know any power faq docs to supplement the power so i can use a different battery or what not? Ben Heck using the sony PSP battery I believe. I would love to look up that skirt and see how its done..
