I acquired my 1,300th game yesterday.
It was Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers for NES.
    It's a loose /w manual, but who cares. It's Chip & Dale!

Oh, while I was writing this, postman (who is actually the worlds cutest postgirl) rang my doorbell, and presented two more games: Street Gangs (or River City Ransom for you Americans) for NES and Golgo 13 for NES, so the total game count is now at 1,302. That doesn't sound as cool as 1,300.

Just had a quick count while reorganizing.

    40 N64 games complete
    60 GC games complete
    All PAL.

    It's not a lot, but it's a start
Got the GC games from several lots, and I only got 5 doubles (which I didn't count) and those'll sell easy enough.
Hoping the double those numbers by next week

Well - I'm still going through the process of cataloging my collection, and I hit a milestone of over 1000 games the other day.But the real reason for this post (and my own personal milestone) is:

Thanks to fellow DP'er DaveD,I am now the proud owner of 100 Complete In box Intellivision games. I got Sewer Sam off of him, along with a loose Turbo. With some eBay stuff & online buying - this number should go up by a bit. But,needless to say I am very happy

I know this seems kinda tiny to most, but since I'm just starting out....

I got my first R7 the other day with Herc's Adventures PSX, probably my first truly "rare" game

I just got my Jack Bros, which completes my complete NTSC VB collection (I am not even trying for demos, I think this is good enough for me).

This is the 2nd complete collection that I have now. I have all complete N-Gage games and All complete VB Games.

I also have the hard case for vb as well, which means since I have all of this complete, pictures will be coming.

Got my 50th GB/GBC title (Kirby Tilt N Tumble). It's got an accelerometer similar to the Wiimote and WW Twisted in it. Neat

-110 PS2 games, thanks to Raw Danger.
-40 pinball titles, thanks to Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS2). I'm currently at 41.

EDIT (9/9/08): I didn't think this was worth a new post, but Contra 4 (DS) put me at 1160 games.

Milestones that I've reached over the last few months:

    100 Atari 2600 games (currently at 135)
100 Gamecube games (currently at 108)
80 Genesis games (currently at 80)
    30 Commodore Vic-20 games (currently at 33)
    25 PS1 games (currently at 26)

I'm also only 25 games away from hitting 1,000 which I expect to around the end of the year. Still trying to think what I want to splurge on for that 1,000th game. Thinking a Neo Geo MVS with Puzzle Bobble or Metal Slug (maybe both).

    I just did it today.

I hit 1000 games according to IGN (I have not put Spore in there).

I was at 999, then bought Spore, that puts me at 1000 games. I definately see this as a huge milestone for me.

I was thinking about what I would get for the 1000th game, but then all the good games just started happening (Titan AE Demo disc, Jack Bros).

For my 1001, I will get a Starfox 2 Repro. I was trying to hold out to have it for me 1000th game, but I just really wanted Spore!

I got my 10th NGPC game yesterday - Puzzle Link 2.

I'm not sure how much the NGPC collection will grow from this point. I acquired my camouflage blue system at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo in August and it quickly became one of my favorite portables of all time. However, the system has a small library and I've acquired most of the games I've had an interest in, so we'll see where things go from here.

Also, my NGPC collection is the only one where the majority of the games were purchased online (six were purchased from Amazon, and the other four from the expo).

EDIT (9/15/08): Another "not really worth a new post" milestone: God of War II (PS2) puts me at 1180 games.

If I could only remember how many games iv actually had before my current purchases (including trade ins and whatnot) id probly have over 1000 games myself. Also do trade ins and used games count towards the total?
