Ok, here I have a silver in Decathlon and I beat Ice Hockey. Do I still have to get a bronze in Decathlon since I got the Silver?

yep yep
Okay, I believe I have all scores taken down up until this point. Everyone please double check however, and take a look at some updates rules/info to follow in the below post.
Yes, everyone should also see the rule updates I added to the first post (also posted below this post).
I have a few new things people should know:
- On top of my record keeping, please save all of your photos/screen shots and keep track of which patches you have so you can double check the records I have for you. Please double check my list as you progress and let me know if there is a mistake. As the game picks up and more people join, there is more for me to keep track of and the chances of me making a mistake on my spreadsheet rises.
- For games with multiple patches, if you get a higher level patch, you will also get all of those below it. These games include: Beamrider, Decathlon, Dolphin, Laser Blast, Robot Tank, Space Shuttle and Starmaster.
- If/when you play a game on an actual 2600 or "hardware equivalent" as outlined above, please let me know and take a snapshot of it. If you will not be playing any games on an original system, please let me know.
- For Barnstorming and Grand Prix, there are multiple ways to get the patch. If you meet one single requirement for the game, then you will get a single patch, as was done when Activision was sending out patches. However, if you manage to complete all of the times for one of these games, I will also give you a second patch (point) that will count towards your score.
for me laserblast and tennis were on my 2600 but since that's all the carts i have the rest are going to be emulation.
ohh and heres the chopper command.

Two more games for me Freeway and Sky Jinks. First one over 10 patches yipee! Oh, and all my games so far have been played on my trustee Atari.
yep yep
Laser Blast >1,000,000 pts.
Seven more for today, all emulation. I'll pull out my VCS cartridges tomorrow and submit some hardware scores...
Barnstorming: 33.20 (game 1)
Chopper Command: 11,900
Ice Hockey: Computer beaten
River Raid: 25,520
Seaquest: 69,800
Sky Jinks: 36.66 (game 1)
Spider Fighter: 45,570
{EDIT 1/18 - Since these have already been verified I'm changing them to links (they still point to the same pics) to help clean up the thread - pzc}
Finally, I've got some scores to post (all done on an Atari 7800):
Starmaster: 5801 on the Leader level (that's worth two patches, correct?)

Ice Hockey: Computer beaten
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/DSCN0618.png
Chopper Command: 11200
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/DSCN0621.png
River Raid: 16570
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/DSCN0622.png
Pitfall II: 198700

I was really freaking out last night because the SD card reader in my printer was reporting my photo card as corrupted. Fortunately it's the reader, not the card, and I was able to get the pictures straight off the camera.

yep yep
Here are my first (hopefully of many) submissions:
Barnstorming (Game 1): 32.97
Barnstorming (Game 2): 50.92
Barnstorming (Game 3): 53.80
This is a great idea for a contest! Thanks so much to those that put it together and made it happen!
Here are my latest "patches."
Chopper Command: 12,100
Dragster: 5.97 sec.
Enduro: 13 days
Freeway: 22 points (Game 3.)
Just curious, though. Why was I not awarded a point for Barnstorming, Game 2? The score to beat was 51 seconds and I got 50.92? Could you please clarify for me? Thanks!
BTW, all my scores so far have been on actual Atari 2600 Hardware, just for the record.
They way I read this: since there was only one patch made originally available for the game, regardless of the difficulty setting, only one patch can be awarded for the contest. But since there's something to be said for beating Barnstorming at a higher degree of difficulty than the lowest one, Vec is awarding a second "point" for anyone who beats a one-patch game on the higher difficulty settings as well. Since you beat the the two higher difficulties, you get a second patch for this.Originally Posted by Vectorman0
For easier viewing, why doesn't everyone just do what deteacher did and put all their accomplishments in one post? You can continually edit the post and add more thumbnails and scores as you go along rather than continually posting with gigantic screenshots like some people are doing, wasting space and bandwidth. Just a thought.
For Barnstorming and Grand Prix, there was only one patch given out by Activision and you only needed one of the times. I decided to give out that patch if you only got one time for each game, but if you got all of them, I would give an additional "patch".
Also, do you have a RCA/S-Video modded 2600? It looks 100x better than my standard RF.
I know this question wasn't directed at me but I just wanted to mention that I do have an RCA modded 2600 Jr. which I'll probably be breaking out when I'm ready to take a crack at the Barnstorming patch. Quicker access to the reset button than the present positioning of my 7800 affords. I'll need it
Nice to see the membership quota of DP shoot up for this contest. Thanks Vectorman!

I have some new scores of my own.
