Default MOH: Heroes 2 Wii.... Anyone?

I cant seem to find a thread about this game. Anyone else playing this? It is the first console game I have ever played online and I am having a blast. Controls seem good. I have not experienced any lag online. Granted I have never played on xbox live so I have nothing to compare it to.

If anyone gets on, my handle is BaronHippo.

I'm on there as EvilNeil. I'll add your name to my friends list when I'm on next. I'm not very good, but then, after looking at the stats of the top players on there, I've played a fraction of the time they have (seriously, some of these people have to be playing like 18 hours a day).

The online is pretty vanilla, but there's very little (if any) lag even with 32 players. My only major complaint is some of the maps aren't very good, especially if you don't have a lot of players (the Port one in particular). It would also be nice if there were more maps, since they basically just recycled the ones from the single player mode.

I have it, but only played online once or twice. I always seem to get horrible lag with Nazis ice skating all over the place and me trying to shoot them off their skates with 57 rounds in the head and they just keep skating by, shoot me once or twice, and I'm dead.

I also really dislike the "instant replays" after dying. You get some really good PS1 graphics when that happens.

Love the overall package though (regular, arcade, multiplayer). Good game.

If I ever get back on there, I believe my handle was ponyone13.. or pony0ne... or pony.. something. I don't remember.

Online for the series was really great on PSP, I was almost tempted to pick it up on Wii as the reviews were much better than any of the other WWII games on the system (not to mention the similar online modes) ... but then I remembered that I also own a 360 and PS3, and I probably already owned 5 or 6 WWII shooters on both of those systems that I didn't even remember purchasing.

Does anyone have any tips for me playing multiplayer on this game. I feel like I can unload 2 clips of ammo into someone and they just fire 4 or so times at me and I am dead. Am I missing something.
Also what is the best weapon. It seems like the bazooka guys get the most success but it seems like that takes all the fun out of the game.

People who use a lot of rocket launcher type weapons in games like that never win any respect.

I've not played the Wii version, but I have the PSP game, and have played most of the other MOH games ... I'd say start firing centered, then bring your target up towards their head.

    Head damage is always key.

Yeah, a lot of games will ban the bazooka because it tends to be a scrubby weapon.

I use the BAR myself, and if you get good with using grenades (ricocheting them around corners, etc) those become very handy as well.
