I've found Board James to be quite enjoyable, although he has not done much with that.

It's hard to believe he's been doing this for 5 years now, pretty much on a regular basis with some fantastic output. I do wonder if the show and him would benefit from a short break, maybe release something around April time and take a few months away to recharge, gain new ideas etc

Gee, I completely missed the Tornado Rex one until just now. I guess he was trying to replicate the feeling of an old-timey pre-teen squabble? I think he succeeded in that respect.
I actually remember the jingle from the commercial; it's hardly a game that needs another new song.
Also, I'm impressed that the tornado was built sturdily enough to resist being busted entirely through overwinding.

And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?
Ohhhh fuck, Daydreamin Davey:

I haven't watched this review yet but knowing that he's reviewing this turd of a game got me excited.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?
Daydreamin' Davey wasn't one of his better reviews. James doesn't really seem as into reviewing old games anymore, IMO.
He totally lacks any passion, and makes obvious mistakes (calling ancient Greece "Rome" in this last video, for instance).
Maybe he should call it quits soon.
This review was definitly a bit lacklustre, this game just seems boring, as does this review. Maybe he's leading into something realy grandiose for his 100th episode?
NES, Atari 7800, Genesis, SNES, Saturn, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Atari Flashback 2, Limited Edition Red Wii, PS3 Slim, GBC, GBA, GBASP, DS Lite, and PSP 3000.
I haven't seen AVGN in a while but I like his 2010 episodes just as good as his earlier (circa 2008) episodes. Ok, maybe the circa 2008 episodes are slightly better...
Real collectors drive Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, etc... not Rolls Royces.
The problem with this review is that it's actually not that bad of a game. There was nothing particularly broken about it, and some of the stuff actually seemed kind of innovative for that time period. The medusa/teacher's head thing made me laugh
To be honest, I haven't watched an AVGN video in months and probably won't any longer. I've tired of his schtick. I prefer watching Classic Gaming Room reviews now.
I thought the Day Dreamin Davey video was great. I like when he just focuses on the game.
Thought it was funny. Why does the art style for every character look so cheap? You wouldn't expect HAL, the people behind Kirby, to make it.
HAL America was only the publisher. The REAL developer was Sculptured Software. Why didn't he mention this?
The review was very in depth and thorough. However, the game itself is too dull to make any good jokes about. I fell asleep and was daydreaming by the end of the video.
