^chris bores is that you?
Anyways, this one was kinda boring. He only reviewed like 4 games and had nothing but fluff around it. I can see his disappointment in the cd not working and wanting to pad the episode a bit, but its like the atari 5200 review, if it doesn't work just hold off.

I disagree. The AVGN spent $450 on two Jaguar CD add-ons and neither of them worked, so I'm glad he told us about it in the video. He did the retro video game community a favor. Now, I bet a lot of people will think twice before buying that piece of junk, instead of flushing hundreds of dollars down the toilet.
Seen a couple of his vids...overall a crap fest. He is funny at times, but that's just AT TIMES. Everything he does is expected...and he tried to be funny when he isn't at all. Still something to watch when there is absolutely nothing to do...
The AVGN's new video was "ok" at best, but nothing thrilling. It's shocking to see two addons die like that, and it does make me weary of me getting one if I ever wanted one.
I just hope his next videos focus more on the games than on theatrics.

That wasnt very nice. Besides, the irate gamer is about as original as Pamela Andersons boobs. The AVGN got there first and the Irate gamer has nothing better to do then leech off the masses that want more AVGN.
"Makes me wanna puke... like a cat.. *HORK HORK HORK HORK HORK*" .

They're both a lot better than this irritating dutch version

The AVGN's cat part was hilarious. Good cat acting abilities. Gotta love laser pointers.

I was disappointed with this one. I wish he would have reviewed a few more games for the system. And who spends that much on a console (or console add-on, I guess) and not check with the seller that it's working?
"Where did you learn to fly?"
"Where'd you learn to be an a**hole?!"
That was a great job by the Nerd. You had jokes, him fighting game sprites, and a cat. And he crapped on a Jaguar! As for the Jaguar CD, my guess is that the production run was fairly small, and there was probably bugs. But since the system died so quickly, Atari didn't bother to manufacture revised versions.

I liked the two episodes, but compared to the exhaustive effort he put into that grand Virtual Boy review, this feels pretty slim by comparison. Seeing the games in action was nice, but that long bit of tech talk was boring filler at best. Instead of talking how his units didn't work, it would have been better to talk on the whole how Jaguar CD systems were notoriously faulty. Nice to have the brotha back, though.
"Enduro" is a symbolic journey through life via the media of a race.
I enjoyed the Jaguar review. The Kasumi ninja and mutant penguin reviews were funny
The mutant penguin review blew my mind. I thought I've seen some wacked out games, but that takes the cake.
You haven't played Vangers then, I take it.
Mohawk & Headphone Jack is close too... but Vangers is just completely out of its mind. It's a late '90s PC game, originally from Russia but released here later on too. Look it up, or go play the demo... it's so, so weird...
