I used to own this Sachen piece of shit called Little Red Hood. His review is 100% accurate, its such a garbage game.

Actually thought the Little Red Hood review was good. The only reason I complained about the last Castlevania review is because he really didn't review Bloodlines, just mentioned told you about the characters, not as good as SCV4(which it's not) and then talked about SotN.

I'd have expected this one to be better though. It's a 15 minute long review on a single game. Good ending to this review as well.

It's funny how if the AVGN reviews a game, then everyone wants to own it. A week ago, nobody would have ever cared about this game. Now everyone wants it. Right now, nobody wants Mission Cobra, but if AVGN reviewed it, then everyone would want it. I can understand why though. He reviews a game in a funny way, and makes you think about it, in a way you otherwise wouldn't have. And seeing the game through his eyes makes it more desirable I guess. Anyhow, funny episode.

My friend loved DJAMH. At the time we were big Goonies II fans, and he lent it to me, saying I will love it because it's like Gonnies II. I played it for a few days and never once played it again. That was 21 years ago.

Very funny from the nerd. I'd never heard of that game either. It looked like something that could have been on the 7800 not the NES. Surprised he missed the blatant lifting of graphics from Zelda and SMB.

That would be Power Punch II, which was supposed to be Mike Tyson's Intergalactic Power Punch. It was released for the NES and was a piece of garbage.

I enjoyed the game a little. It wasn't the worse game out there (for me, Ghost and Goblins has that title), but it does require lot's of practice.

I could never beat the last guy, though. I tried and tried, to no avail. I recently saw some playthroughs of the game, and the person made it look so easy. I should give it a spin.

Concerning the AVGN video, it was pretty good, to be honest. I liked the fact that he was focusing more on gameplay than cinematics, which is always good. The swearwords seemed a bit out of place, though. But overall the video was quite good.

Never understood why games were so cryptic back then. Though the same can be said to some newer games as well.

I agree with this. I like that the AVGN survived all the way to the end to get a complete picture of the utter crappiness of this game. I own one Sachen game (Tagin' Dragon) and based on how awful that is I can only imagine the badness of Little Red Hood.

One minor thing that bothered me was that he kept on calling the trees in the game "palm trees". Every time he said that I thought "WTF, AVGN, that's bamboo" or at least it looked like bamboo to me. This game seems to be some sort of Sachen game based on a Chinese/Korean/whatever story with merely a sprite change to make the main character look like Little Red Riding Hood. That's why the whole "bamboo" theory makes sense to me. They were too lazy to change the tree sprites.
