That's not bad if Quest For The Rings is truly complete. Maybe a bit much for the whole batch if not all of them are boxed, but I think K.C. Munchkin and Quest will override any disappointment you might feel.

If you can find another player to get on the right-hand stick, Baseball is easily the most fun you can have with a sports game on the O2. And as chunky as those little guys on the diamond are, they're never gonna go on strike. Still my personal favorite video baseball game ever.

    Good find!

Thanks PDF, I've been wanting to get Quest ever since I got my O2.

I didn't have any of the boxed games, I already have all the loose games, so they didn't concern me too much...I really wanted Quest, and it definitely appears complete. I'll know in about a week.

BTW PDF, I finally got those posters (Smithereens and Attack...Timelord) scanned onto my computer (what was it, 5 months???). They are in high quality jPeg, full size. About 600k per pic. If you would like me to e-mail you the pics, let me know...as I'm on a 56k modem, I'd have to send each seperately.

I'm still waiting on Powerlord as it's one of the 2 rarest O2 games I don't have (USA releases only). I do have 2 complete boxed Quest for the Rings. One of them the parts haven't even been removed from the part tree and are almost next to still sealed. I can make a follow up later with a detailed part list for anyone new to Quest for the Ring set.

(PS does the title sound a bit misleading, almost as if it really relates to Lord of the Ring?)

The docs for Quest invoke everything from Tolkien to Wagner, so there's no real connection - remember, Philips could scarcely afford licensing unless it was a really obscure arcade title (Turtles), an oddball name license (P.T. Barnum's Acrobats), or a struggling toy license (Power Lords). So no, Quest For The Rings has no connection to Lord Of The Rings.

Also, Quest is damned fun to play, with or without the boardgame component of the game. Get someone else on that second stick and go slay some dragons! It's a blast!

That said, Power Lords is an awesome numb-thumb game. It's a rare holy grail which is actually fun to play (IMHO).

Yo Scooter - I'll set up an e-mail box for you for the O2 stuff and private message it to you later. Many thanks!

@o2 - Yeah, I was given an Odyssey2 a few months ago, and in the box (along with a boatload of original documentation and a few boxed games) were a couple of promotional posters, one for Smithereens!, and one for Attack of the Timelord! I've got full size jpeg scans on my computer (approx. 660k each). They aren't in perfect condition, but they are pretty good, if you'd like them (the scans, not the actual posters, I wanna keep those!!), let me know. As I am on a 56k modem though, so I would have to send 4 separate e-mails with one side per e-mail.
