Some pretty nice finds at FYE at the mall, of all places.
Fatal Frame PS2 - used, complete - $14.99
Sniper Elite Xbox - new, but marked used for some reason - $29.99
I have noticed that FYE is relabeling a lot of new stuff as used. I picked up the DVD sets of Flash Gordon, Prince Valiant (pts 1 + 2), and Defenders of the Earth (pts 1 + 2). They were all new, but labeled as used and priced at $9. The best part was that they had a buy 3 get 1 free sale.

I wouldn't be so sure, I've sold them used stuff and then they shrinkwrap it... so who knows.
Also, their used prices blow chunks. I refuse to pay $45 for a five year old football game.

Starting off March on the right foot:
Actually the Xbox games are from February 28th, when I went to a flea market. Terrible time of the year to go, but I figure I'd give winter scavenging a try. Wasn't a complete miss as one vendor was selling Xbox titles at a generous 2 for $5 price. Most of the games were common sports titles, but I did manage to pick out Panzer Dragoon Orta and Ninja Gaiden from the bunch, in quite good shape too.
Stopped at a Best Buy to pick up Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Lost Arts for $29.99. Right now it's the only B&M chain store carrying the game for either DS or PSP. Kind of a simple (and ugly) hack 'n slash, but still fun. Also, it's nice to see the Hudson Bee logo once again gracing video game cover art in North America.
I then visited GameCrazy this afternoon and left pleasantly surprised. PoPoLoCrios was $8.99 with MVP card, and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was only $22.49 after discount. Nice to finally get Disgaea (even though I own Afternoon of Darkness for the PSP) without being price gouged. It's in fine shape too, and the case isn't scratched, torn, or tattered like the usual GameStop copies I always come by.
EDIT: Holy crap, sorry about the blurry picture. That's the last time I ever take the flash off...
Just ordered Smackdown vs Raw 2008 for 19.98 new. Hopefully it will come in soon.
Went to visit my sister for the day in small town south dakota, stopped by a rental store there and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they had God of War 2 for 9.99 used. I'm almost sure they had it marked as the first God of War.
Went for a drive to the Blue Ridge Mountains, with family that's in town- and stopped by a flea market. Picked up:
Warlords (2600- Sears) $2
Crystalis (NES) $3
Milon's Secret Castle (NES) $3
Got this for $.99. Not really sure about it though.
I got these today for $1 each:
NES:
Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat (cart only)
Deja Vu (cart only)
Target: Renegade (cart only)
SNES:
Ballz: 3D Fighting At Its Ballziest (cart only)
Nice way to start off the month.
I had a great day at the swapmeet. Here were my finds
Dreamcast w/ 1 remote all cables 2 games Worms armegedon and Power Stone $15
3DO Logitech S/SN QF449 Controller $1
Sega Saturn Games - Disc only - Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Iron Storm For $2, yes a dollar each.
NES Games: Mario/Duck hunt (x4) Super C(ontra), Pinball, Tetris, Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Captain Skyhawk All for $11 all are just carts. One of the mario carts is in pretty bad shape someone painted over the label with whiteout. The things people do just amaze me.
Overall good day
Only game find this weekend was Towering Inferno (Atari 2600 - Loose) for 55 cents. Happened to see it while waiting in line at the thirft store with records.

Have a Famicom to NES converter or Famicom / Famiclone with cartridge slot?
It's a pirate multicart, basically a pirated Famicom (Japanese NES cartridge) with multiple games on it. The most well known of these are the 999,999 in 1 (or similar) cartridges that contain a handfull of common games repeated a bunch of times - usually hacked so they won't display their original copyright screens.
Interested in selling it? I'm always curious what games are on these things - although it's usually a bunch of copies of Battle City.
Honestly, most of the time when I buy Famicom anything from the boards is to confirm / disprove cartridges as being pirates or authentic. This thread is a good example. (damn I was pretty stealthy in my purchase of those, paid fair price for them though, as authentic except for the SMB cartridge - all of which I confirmed) Most of my multicarts and protos simply sit around and collect dust.
