I just want to know if anyone has heard anything about the development of the sequel to No More Heroes.

Sales for the game were pretty disappointing, i wouldn't expect a sequel.
I thought it did considerably better in the US than it did in Japan.
That's like saying it's better to be kicked in the nuts then stabbed in the belly...
It's Suda51's best selling game so far, though that's admittedly not saying very much. He supposedly planned for the series to be a trilogy, though whether or not that will come to fruition is anyone's guess.
I know most of us here don't put too much clout in reviews, especially GAme INformer reviews, but they game No More Heroes a 6 / 10 ! Sonic Riders, Dynasty Warriors 100, Fifa Street 3, Turok, and WINTER SPORTS, all got a better score than No More Heroes. DubTeeEff!
I played No More Heroes and thought is was a really good game. A lof of the crap you had to do in between missions could have been left out but I founf the game to be really fun, new and original yet Dynasty Warriors 6 get's 7.25 even when the first sentence of the review states that it's basically an update to all of the previous DW games and didn't add anythig new for the sequel...

I saw that review and was floored. Sure, it's not a 10 as there are some game flaws and a bit of repetition, but I'm half way through it and thoroughly enjoying it. On any game that get less than an 8 on anyone's scale, I usually avoid because I end up bored part way through. Hard to follow plot line? Umm... no. The plot is simple.. kill everyone and be the #1 assassin so you can score with the chick (no I don't need spoilers here but I know it doesn't end up quite that way). That's not a hard plotline.
I'd love to see a sequel, as I loved the game, so far as to consider it my favorite Wii game so far. Hopefully sales will be enough to drive a sequel, as I thought I heard somewhere that Suda was touting it as the first game in a "Travis Trilogy."
Although the ending of the game was awfully ambiguous about any continuation...
I actually enjoy the game, And hope for another one to be made.
I absolutely LOVVEEEE the game. It's so creative, the voice acting's great, the fighting system's awesome.
I really hate Game Informer and IGN, (add other terrible mainstream gaming mag or site here) cause they feel like that since the game is a little different than any other game, they have to to give it a mediocre score. I doubt they barely played through 5 min of it, then judged it. Yes, I do hope there is a sequal, and I'm sure Suda will do an awesome job on it.
Dance Dance Toejam and Earl!
I would so take up that "I Heart Chainsaw" shirt... or possible the "680K Calorie" one. That's a great idea!
I think I've gushed about NMH before, so all I can say is that I hope a sequel gets made... and Takada returns for the soundtrack (to which I am currently listening).

I don't know, it did do seven times better than Killer Seven did, on both the GameCube and the PS2 combined. This game is a must have for any mature wii owner. I just want the story to continue.

Awesome, that's great news! At least there's one Wii game I'm looking forward to now.

I just got done watching the teaser trailer and I'm very excited. I'll probably pick this game up when it first comes out, even though it'll probably drop in price only two or three weeks after coming out.
A game can be very fun but still have a lot of flaws...which means a bad review. If they re-released Pac-Man on the DS and didn't update the graphics, how would you score it? Yes it's a strange comparison but you know what I mean.
Now that Game Informer is the most popular gaming magazine a lot of haters have started showing their negative opinions about it. I've been subscribed to their magazine for 5 years and I don't see anything they've changed except their layout.
Also remember (if you have ever subscribed) that the review is the opinion of those two reviewers. They said in one issue that the reviewer decides the score and the other reviewers aren't allowed to change it, they can give their opinion, but not change it.
