Default Question about the Nintendo Power Glove.

I just acqired one literaly not even over an hour ago as of posting and I've never even seen one in real life before and I was wondering what a complete PG consist of. I have just the glove and I noticed that the plug on the cord is not like a typical Nintendo NES plug but looks more like a Sega Genesis plug. Do I also need a censor for this as well? And just incase you were wondering, I got it a a thrift store for $1.98.

The glove plugs into a sonic sensor array (three speakers with plastic tubes between them) which were meant to be placed on top of a "standard" size television of that era (20 inches?).

You'll also need the instruction manual (I'm sure it's online) if you want to "program" it to work with certain NES games (though, in my experience, none of them work very well with the glove, except for Super Glove Ball).

if i remember well, the power glove's contents included the sensor which has one plug for the NES and the other plug into the sega genesis port-like thingy. btw, you're not the only one who has a power glove without the sensor. i also have one without the sensor.

Bah! Sensors and crap. I don't think anyone ever said that a game was totally better playing with the Power Glove. What an abortion that thing was. I actually have to program it to play games. That's exactly what an 8 year old wants to do. Luckily it's co cheeisly cool looking.

    Thanks for the info guys.

This is the best use of the power glove I've ever seen.

I think the defunct site "Overclocked.org" said it best:

No matter how exciting they tried to make this in ads or in that lame Fred Savage flick "The Wizard", the power glove was really only good for pretending you were a cybernetically enhanced Michael Jackson, grabbing your crotch in a bionic frenzy and . . . oops . . kinda got carried away there . . .

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!
