    Default Price of loose/bare consoles?

I have multiple NES, Genesis, and Dreamcast loose consoles. I suspect all the NES ones "blink". What should I list these for? I don't plan on selling power supplies or controllers with them, only the bare consoles.

I'm guessing $20 for the Dreamcasts and NES units and $5 for the Genesis consoles -- is that ballpark?

Those sound like reasonable figures. Were you selling them here?

If it were me, and it isn't, I'd sell the NES for $8-10 and the Dreamcast for $15. I think the Genesis figure is about right, though.

At one point I had 30 Geneis to sell without any sort of hookups. I DID have one controller with each though. I had trouble getting $7 each. If you're planning on putting them on ebay I'm not sure if people will be up for paying $5 + $10+ for shipping for a bare system.

I think $20 for NES might be a bit stiff. I see them go for $20-$30 on a regular basis with everything plus a few games. I guess it all depends on how fast you are looking to move them. If you don't mind sitting on them for a bit, then go for $20. Otherwise, I'd go $10-$15.

Save a couple so that you can smash them to bits and upload the carnage on YouTube.

I'd say NES's probably $15-$20 (as they can command quite a bit on ebay)... the Genesis probably $5 like you said (only because the power supplies for the 1 seem harder to find... But the Dreamcasts you can usually pick up mostly complete for $10 or it's not hard to find them at pawn shops in complete working order for $19.99. In fact I've come across more Dreamcasts than even Genesis or NES's in the wild.

Some people on ebay associate systems without wires as "broken" systems. Gets kind of fishy sometimes (for instance I saw 3 Virtual boys without wires that were sold as is, they were like 20 bucks shipped compared to what they go for in working considtion). I think the nes consoles you have could go slightly higher price wise, and I would keep the Genesis/Dreamcast at what you stated. O_o

    For me..
I usually can't get more then $10.00 for a working DC deck..(I don't even want to bother picking them up anymore)
On Ebay I just sold a working DC,1 controller, plug and dc"rf" switch for a...whopping $10.49($20.00 shipped flat rate priority..
I paid $7.00 for it at a flea market and added in the rf switch..with the fees etc I made nothing..
    .................................................. ...................................
Nes loose decks I can't get no more then $10.00 for...And I'd be lucky if I got that..Complete NES system selling on ebay for me has died....If I get $50.00 for a boxed NES system it calls for celebration.
    .................................................. ...............................................
Genesis consoles ..I can't even give away for free...If I could get $5.00 for them I'd be happy..$5.00 is my going rate though..
    ..............
As TheDomesticInstitution said.>I also find more DCs in the wild then Genesis or NES.
It's amazing how much NES stuff I don't find..where's it all went..in the dumps?

i could use a spare dreamcast ,I'd pay about 10-15$ for one as long as its in decent to excelent cosmetic shape, 10-15 is pretty reasonable for a toaster nes with a case of the blinks. genesis i'd be suirprised if you could get 5 for em (although if you had any model 3's i'd be interested myself just for the novelty)

The local Goodwills usually price loose Genesis consoles (usually model 2's, but model 1's are spotted every so often) for $5-$10. The $5 ones usually don't stay there long, but the $10 ones will sit around for weeks, regardless of whether it's the first or second model.

I almost always see loose Genesis consoles in the thrifts, but I'd say that I see original model PlayStations more often (and some of the local Goodwills price loose ones at $19.99... needless to say, they've been there a while). 99% of the time I spot a DC, it's always bundled with the hookups, and half of the time, at least one controller. Toaster NES's are about as common as Genesis 1 consoles.

I can agree on the genesis prices....I have just given them away before because trying to sell them is a pain. Though for people not knowing prices its easy.

I'd probably price a loose NES at about $12-$15, assuming the connectors needed replacement and the system itself was clean. For Genesis 1 & 2 systems, $5 is pretty decent. If there's a Genesis 3 involved, I'd probably go closer to $12-$15 for it. For Dreamcasts, I'd say $8-$12 (then again, I sell 'em w/cords and a controller for around $20...heck, I sold a bundle that was a system w/cords, 3 controllers, and a VMU for $20 + shipping once).

Wow I was just planing on listing my bare systems here.
I figured the $5 for Genesis, about $10 for nes and snes, $7 for PSX w/ av ports and $5 for w/o av and $5 for N64 that do not have ram paks.
That sound fair? I am in the middle of testing/fixing them all so all of these will work.

On the genesis side I've had luck with plain model 2 systems with no cords on amazon.com since you can have the lowest priced one at $25 and probably end up with about $15 after shipping and fees but expect to be sitting on it awhile until someone takes it though.
