Hi there
My name is Daniel , and I am from Brazil. I joined this forum to see if I can find some answers on how to fix my Genesis
here is what happens:
I have a USA Genesis 2 (I don't know if it was transcoded to PAL-M or not) connected via Composite to my TV. If I let the TV on auto, it displays a B&W image with noise. If I change to NTSC or PAL (PAL-N), the image remains the same, B&W with noise. If I change to PAL-M the noise is gone, there is color, but the hue is off.. like blues look purple, and so on...
the interesting fact is that if I connect a 32x to this Genesis2, the image output via the 32x is perfect.
does the 32x gets a RGB input from the genesis and reencodes the video to composite?
is the genesis video encoder or crystal damaged?
I also have a Brazilian Genesis 1 that has this same behavior, but I can't connect the 32x to it since I don't have the din->mini-din adapter.
what would be the first step to check this issue and try to solve it ?
thanks in advance!
