Like I said before, there isn't a definite day of the week when the clearance stuff is marked, if it is even done weekly.
Also, I don't know if things have changed since I worked in the stores, but if stuff doesn't sell on clearance, it isn't donated to Goodwill. In most cases, it's either sent back to the manufacturer or simply tossed.
For games, Target will usually mark it down to like 90% off before it's taken off the shelves. I've picked up a couple of Xbox1 games there recently for $2 and under.
Since you asked for it... here's a Circuit City Clearance thread- that was merged from two threads.
http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110478
If you'd like, you could start the Best Buy thread. And to make things really effective... I'll start separate "Carolina Only" versions of all those you listed. We could really shape this place up for the better- with a little work.
I never understood why someone would complain about a topic like this? The title says what it is, just don't read it. It is not like you HAVE to read every single thread and comment on each one. Several people find it helpful, including myself.

They did have some Viva Pinata though...
The Target in Clifton (in the Clifton Commons) has like a ZILLION copies of Lego Star Wars II The Original Trilogy for 360 for like, $10.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
