Default 100% complete Super Famicom fullset, 1450 titles!

No, this is not an 1st april's fool!
After years of collecting, i stopped between 2000-2005.
Then i decided to go for the Super Famicom complete in box fullset, and grab the 500 last games i was missing.
It wasn't easy, especially for the 15-20 last ones who took me a year to locate (if not more, like 5 years for Emit Value Set)
It is always more difficult to find CIB SFC Games nowadays, compared to Saturn/PSOne and upper generation games, who pratically always have box&instructions (rarely loose CDs for sale, tons of loose carts)

There is approx. 1450 titles, classified alphabetically in japanese, from up to bottom, left to right, 20 by 20
This includes all Sufami Turbo games, most of the Nintendo Power EXCLUSIVE games (like Ring ni Kakero,Super Punch Out,Doctor Mario..),and many "hibaihins"/not for sale",like Chrono Trigger V Jump,Far East of Eden Zero V-Jump,Magical Drop 2 Special Version,etc..

If anybody has some questions about the games, just ask, I'll be glad to help.

I should end my Saturn Japanese fullset (around 1150 titles) in the next weeks as well, still 20 titles or so to grab, but great websites such as Satakore already exist with a great database.

Everything can be seen in my "room of doom" section:Super Famicom complete fullset

    Enjoy!

Adol, you are my Idol. : )

I am seriously considering dumping my ~150 cart collection of the "best" of the Super Nintendo (99% loose carts) to replace them with complete copies. It just really, really hurts my wallet to think about doing that. Also hearing your cost estimate of 30K really gives me a reality check.

I can see the appeal in having a "complete" collection but I don't really think I'll be going that route. I don't think I or anyone else will care if I have a complete copy of Barley Shut Up and Jam.

    Earthbound on the other hand...

    Anyway, enough about me. Congrats!!!

Very impressive, made even more impressive by the fact that only a few people have complete US sets, and I don't think there is anyone with a full Pal set.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them

Do you sell off all of you full sets when you are finished collecting them, do you only sell some, or do you keep them all?

I still have them all simultaneously,of course.
It'd be too easy to get them 1 after 1,with the money you got by selling the previous one.

I can't believe someone finally completed a collection that extensive. Great Job. Was it worth all of the time and money??

I didn't see this in your collection (correct me if I'm wrong, I just saw the normal release box):

Yes,it was (if you're talking about SFC).
As much as the 23 other fullsets.
but everything come to an end,i don't see what i could collect more now, since i got fullsets on all the systems i loved back in my teenagehood.
Maybe i'll go for Factory sealed PCE fullset (since i'm 70%),or famicom Cart fullset..

DD Cecil: for "classification purposes",i put in pictures the normal version of Shining ScorpionI do have the deluxe version though (worth nothing by the way

Nice collection. What will you do once you have every videogame that you want? Are you running out of storage space yet? Will you open a museum someday?

I'm not runngin out of storage space.
I got 95% of what i wanted,i think i'm pratically done collecting. As said earlier, maybe i'll go for Famicom Cart fullset,so i'd have all Nintendo homebased japanese video games from Famicom to N64..What the hell, maybe i'd do Gamecube (300 titles only in Japan, and i already have 150)..thaty'd do Famicom,Famicom Disk System,Super Famicom,Virtual Boy, N64, DD 64 Gamecube.
    I already have all SNK & Sega & Nec...then i'm done.
Oh yeah, maybe i'll go for the PC Engine fullset FACTORY SEALED.Hucards AND CDs...there is about 675 titles,i have them all already with spine card, etc, and 500 of them are factory sealed...so maybe i'd go for the 175 missing ones, but it's gonna be a very expensive hunt (like getting $300 games, when used ones of the sametitles don't fetch $100..).

I'm interested in 8-16-32-64 bits stuff, not much.I will never collect on PSP,DS,XBox,PS1&2,Wii,because it's not my generation.I grewx up from NES/SMS to 2000 let's say, so i will not sepdn crazy money getting other generations system fullsets.

I don't think i'll open a museum someday, because it will interest too few people (japanese video games in France has a lot of fans, but not THAT much to creat a museum for)
