Default Jet City Retro in Seattle April 26&27

Hey all, sorry for being so slow in getting the details out, but there will be a classic gaming show in Seattle at the end of this month. Jet City Retro will be in Seattle's University District at the Hotel Deca. The entry fee is $20 for both days, and $15 for just one day.

In case you didn't hear, there will be three rooms, a vendor's hall, a classic console freeplay room, and a guest speaker/tournament room. There will also be a midnight screening of the videogame documentary "High Score" on Saturday night.

I'm still working on getting the website up, but those of you who are interested in finding out more, please post here, and I'll try to answer questions and get more information online asap.

In the meantime, enjoy this image I had made up for the flyer :

I wanted to add that Jet City Retro is a Northwest Classic Gaming Expo Event. Nate is part of NWCGE and put alot of blood and sweat into making this event special. I recommend anyone who can go, as there will be some great deals and video game related items that will be at the show. From what I have seen so far, this one going to be great! Nate, I will be there for Sat, and I will be driving Rick and Brian(speciality gamer) to the show. I also will try to post on craigslist for you. Thanks, John

Sweet!!! How much to be a vendor? And can you set up for only 1 day? I know I can be there on the 27th but the 26th is questionable.

I seriously thought that the title was "Jet Set Radio in Seattle" and nearly crapped myself.

    Thanks Rick!

I don't have 1-day pricing for vendors, since I'm unable to re-sell the booth on Saturday.

One other thing to mention is that Vendors will be invited to the Friday mixer at The District Jazz club in the hotel. There will be free food and drinks for all vendors. Vendors also receive free tickets to the midnight showing of "High Score" at the movie theatre across the street.

Brian has a full writeup along with more details for vendors at his website: http://www.specialtygamer.com/featur...ril-26-and-27/

One more FYI, I am still looking for vendors, and have a few spaces left to fill, so please contact me if you would like to reserve your space.

Will there be pre-registration for attendees or will we just pay at the door?

P.S. - Nathan - can you get a hold of me? I see that your payment deadline is the 8th and I'd like to settle up with you on my booth.

Sure, I responded to your email, Chuck. Just to clarify, the last day to request a booth is the 8th, with a day or two of leeway. I don't require payment up until the show.

I am cleaning out my room for this convention. I am bringing alot of systems and games between the ages of Atari 2600 to Xbox. Then I also have a lot of non gaming stuff like movie posters and what not coming with me as well.

I'm bringing some decent Atari 8-bit carts, Amiga games and a boxed Amiga 500, popular Virtual Boy games and system, lots of video game toys and tons of other stuff.
