The other day I finally got my Xbox 360 limited edition of GTA 4 for $44.98. Other cheap games I noticed and didn't puchase:

Final Fantasy 12(PS2) $4.98
God of War(PS2) $13.98
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit(PS3) $14.98
too many damn $4.98 sports games for PS3, 360 and PS2

On a related note, Toys R Us had a discount bin with:

Halo 2(Xbox) $5.00
Elite Beat Agents(NDS) $5.00
and a bunch of other worthless crap

I think it keeps things more organized. People just have to remember to post what store they're talking about. I think 1 2 P was talking about Target since he said that he got a GTA 4 LE.

Sorry guys. I was talking about Target for all of those sales except for the Toys R Us ones. As for why we don't have seperate threads--Digital Space hit the hammer on the nail. It's better to have one thread to cover 5+ stores than 5 different threads where only one or two get posted on because they have the majority of the salee(which would be Target and Sears).

My Target only had the 360 GTA clearenced, the PS3 version was still $90.

I'll buy it if the do the same to it.

Oe of my Targets has 4 of the PS3 versions still priced at $90. And thats why they are still sitting there.

Not sure if it's just around here or not, but if you've missed a deal on a clearance game at Target, check your local Goodwill. The closest Goodwill to me generally has a handful of former Target clearance games (largely the horseshit titles, unfortunately).

I've also found that certain Wal Marts are decent from time to time for cheap games, even though I hate to shop there for anything else. Grabbed Perfect Dark Zero and Overlord the other day for $10/each, and while I know that's not that great for PDZ, it beats a booger-smeared used copy from Gamestop for a mere $2 savings. I also spotted Timeshift for $8 but I knew I'd never play it.

Here's what stood out at a Target I was at this evening:

New International Track & Field (DS) - $14.98
Dragonball Z Burst Limit (PS3) - $14.98 (they also had the 360 version for $29.98)

(They also had several copies of NBA Live 08 for the PS2 for $4.98.)

the Target I went to had Intl Track & Field for $20.98 (really wanted it at $14.98)
also saw No More Heroes for $20.98. They had a bunch of red tagged games, but almost nothing under $20.

All of my Targets seem to be in a Clearance Dry-spell these days. Once the last load of items got sold two weeks ago, there haven't been any new clearances at all. I go in a couple of times a week and nothing is newly marked down.

Can't get greedy, gotta wait for my turn, I guess....

Same here. Today they had a ton of Madden 08 at Goodwill. The sad thing was that the last marked Target price was $7.48 and Goodwill was selling them for $6.48 plus tax

Here's what stood out at a Target I was at this afternoon:

House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return
Ninja Reflex
Bee Movie Game

All for the Wii, $20.98 each. I'm not sure if Ninja Reflex and Bee Movie are even worth noting here, but they're probably more appealing than the multiple copies of MLB 08 for the PS3 that they had for the same price.

I bought the last copy of Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck for the DS, which isn't a clearance game, but is one of the DS titles that's on sale for $11.99 through tomorrow.

Went to Target today to see if they still had in GTAIV Special edition for 360 (selling it for $45, but I skipped because I really didn't need it). They didn't but I did find No More Heroes for 20.98. Sad it is on clearance, but they are making a sequel so yeah.

I think they also may have had FaceBreaker for PS3, but I'd doubt that that was the game because it is unlikely it would be on clearance so soon. Didn't look at the price though.

PURE (PS3) - $29.98 (50% off)
Pure (xbox 360) - $41.98 (25% off)
Lego Raiders (xbox 360) - $40.98

And a few sports titles, like NBA and Madden but since I don't buy them I didn't notice the new prices.

I seriously can't believe that Pure is already on clearance??? I would buy it for the PS3 but as much as I'm trying I just can't get used to the PS3 controllers. I still prefer the 360 but those games don't seem to get clearanced as quick as the PS3 versions.

Last week I saw Sid Meier's Revolution (360) for $41.98 at Target. I don't own a PS3, so I didn't check if that was the same price as well, but it most likely was.

Only thing I got new was Wario: Master of Disguise for 14.98. Everyone else has just a few titles. Wonder if the holiday season is keeping the games on the shelf in hopes they will sell for Christmas?

I haven't seen anything new on the clearance shelf in a while myself. The Kmart I check usually restocks every couple months but I think its been since July. So I'm starting to think its because of the holiday season.
