Default what's worse then a bidder that won't pay?

.. A seller who won't message you after you just got a great deal on one of his auctions.. >

Sometimes they will message you a week later and say, "Oh.. I was on vacation." Well why the F#$% are you auctioning stuff when you know you will be gone?

    The seller is an idiot.

When I go on vacation, I would use the option to select the start-time that way, that the auction ends when Iīm back at home, that is a little fee, but thatīs ok.
Is it possible at ebay.com to select the starting-time?

Even better is the fuckwit seller who refuses to sell you the item AT ALL after getting a great deal on it. If you wanted more money for it, start it at a freakin' higher price!

I got a good deal on a old computer once. The guy was really rude in the e-mails after the auction. He charged me silly shipping and the thing arrived in a massive box with a little bit of bubble wrap (that wasn't attached to anything, just laying loose).

The computer was dead on arrival, but fortunatly I only wanted it for the keyboard, which worked!

Worse is a buyer who pays via paypal and then has paypal reverse the transaction after receiving the item... same with a credit card payment.

An irrelevant scoff, too. If you can make deposits (via bank withdrawl) to paypal, so too can paypal make them in order to reverse a transaction. They will do it and they have done it to me.

I'm still not sure that would work, because then wouldn't you just get an overdrawn charge from you bank when PayPal tried to withdraw the money from it? You'd end up getting charged even more money that way.

In nearly all cases, yes. You would get the chargeback + a ~$25 overdraft fee, unless you had overdraft protection, in which case the fee would be replaced by interest on the balance.

Whenever I get paid with paypal, I usually either use the money right away to pay someone else I know, or run down to the bank and use the ATM with my paypal card. Nothing beats getting paypal cash, and pulling it out as real cash This way it is foolproof.

Unless you are international. I'm Canadian. No CC, no Paypal if you are international. If someone ever reverses me (crosses fingers!) I'm screwed.

Worse than all this is the seller who puts the curse of the living dead doll on you after you get a really good deal.
