If this is real I am not going to hear the end of it from a friend of mine.

It's real, Going to be a wiiware product. If you look in the Wiiware thread there was some info yesterday also. G4tv also has the first pic of the game.
I can't see this ending well. Some folks have already been unimpressed with Telltale's offerings, and it would seem that the standard for Wii games is set pretty low.
Too bad that Atari 2600 H*R RPG never got finished.
Did you notice the abnormally high frame rate in the trailer relative to the typical H*R toon?

Looking forward to these.
Telltale + TBC seem like a very good collaborative duo.
Incidentally, two years ago I was fortunate enough to see The Bros. Chaps do a panel discussion at NYU ...
Left to Right - Homestar Puppet, Matt Chapman, Mike Chapman, Frankie (sporting some serious Eddie Munster hair), Missy Palmer
...and when I asked them what are some of their biggest influences in terms of both art and comedy "stylings" they said (amongst other things): Nintendo.
So, for this to be one of the first Wii Ware downloads, I'm sure for them is like some sort of "dream come true" ... but, not one of those dreams where you're naked in the school lunch room, and you wake up screaming in a cold sweat.

"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
Less than 24 hours left 'till we see what the brothers chaps and TellTale Games have cooked up for our collective Wii's!
Between this on Monday and Bionic Commando Re-Armed later in the week, and a slew of other time-eaters I've been poking around with on my PSP and DS I'm not sure if I'll ever get a chance to get back to Metal Gear Solid 4 and finish off the 20 minutes I'm pretty sure I have left in the game.
But I digress.
Monday.
Strongbad.
Wii.
Be there.
Sewiously.

I think it will be Strong Bad's Hamburger maker.
Eh. I'll wait until I can get all five episodes for $10 or whatever. (It happened with Sam & Max quickly enough.)

I've put about a solid hour in and it's all the fun of classic Lucasarts SCUMM games cross-bred with the Bros. Chapps brand of comedy stylings.
Sadly it's a teensy weensy bit on the buggy side (the Teen Girl Squad comic mini-game flaked out on me once or twice) but overall I'm impressed with the total package of the game. It's a great video game realization of the "world" of Homestarrunner (who hasn't wanted to check out the physical layout of Strongbad's house?) and so far it's the most fun I've had pointing and clicking since Monkey Island 3.
They probably will do a "whole package" ... but if episode 1 is 311 Wii blocks, expect to have to clear off a big old chunk of Wii memory to make them all fit when that happens.
