Default squeaky buttons on NES Advantage

I just bought an NES Advantage this weekend. It's the first I've ever owned.

The joystick is wonderful but the A & B buttons make a slight noise when pressed. It's not quite a squeak, but almost.

Is this normal? Is there anything that can be done about it? I love the Advantage otherwise

Mine's squeaky. I tried to open it, once, but it proved...difficult, due to the lack of screws. I'm guessing it pries open (you can unscrew the stick ball), but I didn't feel like accidentally breaking it. Squeaks are acceptable.
