Default 2 or 3 Imports to add to the VCS List

    Hey DP,

    Got some additions for you.

First is a multicart labeled Fantastic Game. It is a 32 in one, and is labeled as 3204n, as opposed to the 3204n-a in the DP guide. Just to be sure they are not the same, I'll list the games in the order listed on the back of the label:

    Left Column:
    TIC-TAC-TOE
    COWBOY
    LASER BLAST
    TENNIS
    SKI RUN
    OUTLAW
    MATH
    FREEWAY
    CHESS
    AIR LAND WAR
    BOXING
    BOWLING
    I.Q. WINNER
    TANK WAR
    BASKETBALL
    AIRTROOPS

    Right Column:
    ANT WAR
    FOOTBALL
    GOLF
    FISHING
    PINGO II
    OTHELLO
    CANNON GUN
    BRIDGE
    FANCY TANK
    ROBBIT RUNN
    LASER FOCUS
    SNAKE WAR
    SPACE HUNTEI
    PARATROOPS
    BASEBALL
    MINI GOLF

Next we have anothe Fantastic Game 32-In 1, but it is labeled as 3203p
It has all the same games as above, only in a completely different order, with the exception of Space Huntei...instead 3203p has Astrowar. Also, Laser Focus on the 3204n cart is NOT the same as Laser Blast, but it is strikingly similar (it's faster, different colors, like a blue sky, different sprites). Also, on 3203p Robbit Runn is labeled as Robbit Running. So, there basically like 1 1/2 games difference between the two.

For the sake of archiving information, I will list the game order for this cart too:

    Left Column:
    SPACE WAR
    SNAKE WAR
    MINI GOLF
    TIC-TAC-TOE
    AIRTROOPS
    GOLF
    ROBBIT RUNNING
    MATH
    FANCY TANK
    CHESS
    BRIDGE
    CANNON GUN
    FOOTBALL
    I.Q. WINNER
    OTHELLO
    ASTROWAR

    Right Column:
    BASEBALL
    COWBOY
    LASER BLAST
    TENNIS
    BOWLING
    SKI RUN
    PARATROOPS
    FREEWAY
    ANT WAR
    PINGO II
    FISHING
    AIR LAND WAR
    BASKETBALL
    TANK WAR
    OUTLAW
    BOXING

Third, I have a 16 in one from Fantastic Game that has different games listed than the one in the DP Guide. The model number for the one I have is 1603. No letters.

It should be noted that the model numbers indicate some info on the cart. the first two digits indicate how many games are on the cart. the second 2 I assume indicates which version (list of games?) the cart is. The N or P does indeed indicate PAL or NTSC. The 3204n I got from a Mexican fella, and the other 2 are PAL (from the UK). I guess thi pirater got around. So, the 16 in one has no P or N, but it is PAL. So, I assume there are likely copies of 1601x, 3201x, 1602x, 3202x, maybe even 05 and higher...

I Wonder what the "a" on the end of the one in the DP guide is for. For the hell of it, until confirmed, maybe a note under this game indicating possible different carts may make a difference in the guide (you didn't list the games on the "a" copy, so I dunno)? Maybe not. Your call, of course.

So, Joe, any idea what the model number for the 16 in 1 in the guide is? Is it Pal or NTSC?

Here's the list of games on the 16 in one I have:

    Left Column:
    CHESS
    COWBOY
    LASER BLAST
    TENNIS
    SKI RUN
    OUTLAW
    BASEBALL
    FREEWAY
    TIC-TAC-TOE
    FANCY TANK
    BOXING
    BOWLING
    I.Q. WINNER
    FOOTBALL
    OTHELLO
    FISHING

Well, sorry for the long post, but on new discoveries, I try to be as thorough as possible. It is history, you know :-) Lol

Great info. There can never be "too much information", especially with the import Atari stuff since it's all so murky and obscure. I think it would take Marco an entire lifetime to fill in all of the details on that section. Which, of course, he will do

I don't have an answer to the "a" suffix but I'm passing this along to him. He may know or have a theory!

    Thanks again.

    Default No Prob

Any time, Joe. What's the purpose of collecting, if you can't give something back to the community in terms of "historical information?"

Ok, so maybe I'm tooting our horns here, but thats how I feel

And hey everyone! Always report your unlisted discoveries! I've reported at least 3 or 4 in the past year, and I rarely see others doing so...
