Default What is the last game you opened?

I don't mean a new release, but rather an older game that you have just opened. For me, yesterday I opened a sealed copy of Linkle Liver Story for the Saturn (Japanese). Before that, it was a copy of Aidyn Chronicles for the N64 last week.

Hm... I'd have to say a copy of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron that hasn't been opened in six years. :3

Breath of Fire IV, I bought it around the time it was first released, and just never got around to playing it. I opened and played it, I think around last December.

Beauty and the Beast for the Intellivision. I was surprised that it didn't have much value on ebay, so I used the MIP copy I found at Movie Trading Company to replace my loose cart.

Not sure if the Gamecube counts as old, but I picked up Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles last year and still haven't played it.

Well mine really wasn't too old. The last "old game" I opened was a copy of Viewtiful Joe I had purchased about two or three years earlier and never got around to play.

Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse for the Sega CD. Recently I opened it and I gotta say... It's fantastic.

One wonders why it's not mentioned as often as Castle of Illusion or World of Illusion.

Hmm... probably a copy of Shooter: Starfighter Sanvein (PSX) that I got for a buck.

(And it was well worth the price.)

Well, I bought Black on my birthday and opened that...it was only 2 days ago but it's not really a new release...I mean it was in the Greatest Hits line and had probably been in the store for months. Apart from that, I rarely keep games for long before they are opened for the first time which is kind of what I think you're talking about.

Last one I opened was Bust-A-Move for the PSP. I've had it for well over a year now I believe and opened it just for the sakes of reading the manual, still don't have a PSP.

Soon I'll be opening a Cannon Fodder (PC) print that was released in 1996. I still have sealed copies of Pengo, MegaMania, and Real Soccer (each from 1983) for the Atari 5200 that I'm just waiting for the right time to open and play.

I just opened Max Payne for my xbox. I've had it probably for two years but I finally decided to give it a try a few months ago. And I'm glad because it is one of my favorite games. The action, story and art design are all top notch. I regret not opening it sooner, but better late than never.

The closest thing for me would be a new copy of Dreamcast Web Browser 3.0

Probably Dr. Mario, which my brother and I got as a joint birthday present when it came out. That should tell you how often I get new games. If we could count current gen it would be Rock Band, and before that Kingdom Hearts, both around the time of release.

I opened a bunch of games for GameCube and DS earlier today just because I needed to put the cases in storage. They were FIFA Road to the World Cup 2006, Need for Speed Carbon and Need for Speed: Underground 2 for GameCube and Bleach, Napoleon Dynamite and Picross for DS.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
