Maybe it's the green shirt, but I was thinking more Peter Pan than Pitfall Harry. Not necessarily edutainment, but definately for the 10 and under crowd, whom won't even recognize the licence.

Looks the same as the PS2/Xbox version, which was pretty challenging.

Looks like they are carrying on the character design from their PS2/XB/Cube game Pitfall: The Lost Expedition game of a few years back to me.

Agreed 100%. The lackluster gameplay didn't do much for me, either. If it was a great game, I could put up with that godawful look. Not even remotely intersted in this unless I see some gameplay vids.
