Default Donkey kong land gba issues

    Hello everyone!
I just recently got a copy of DK land for the GB for $5 bucks, and I notice that when I play it on my gba sp that you'll see the sprites randomly have lines through them and stuff. I think this is because the GBA only emulates the oringinal gb, but I'm not sure. I have an EFA Linker aswell, and I put the DK land rom in goomba and loaded it on, and I get the same lines through the sprites!!! It's not that big a deal, but I just want to know if it's normal, or if I should return the game.

    Thanks!

    Jess

nope, this is how game played and looked 13 years ago.
I remember issues you're talking about on gameboy pocket.
it's normal, don't worry about it and play it - one of the finest series to ever grace gameboy.

The GBA has real hardware inside of it, so I doubt its normal behavior (Don't own Donkey Kong Land so I can't check for you).

Edit - Sounds like you got your answer above.

Ahh, Donkey Kong Land. What an oddity that one was - not an attempted port like the other DKL games.

I played the game on a brick, and I'm not really sure what these "lines through the sprites" are.
