    Default SNES Eject Button Question

good day everyone ... I have a quick question. I recently did a custom paint job on my SNES and I disassembled it of course. I've got everything back together except for the eject button. I can't figure out how to piece it back together. does anyone here know exactly how it's done? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I have a picture there of how the eject button sits in. It is a real bitch to put back on, due to the spring you have to fit onto the metal rod.

to look different I guess, and probably cause of the greenish plastic oxygenating problem :S I dunno bout the yellow though ><

Reminiscent of the later N64 Pokemon consoles. Anybody ever figure out the exact color of spray the SNES matched? Also, the yellowing of the plastic will eventually bleed through any paintjob, although you would imagine that a good layer of Krylon would stop it for quite a while.

Wow, I've heard of SNES's yellowing with age but that's ridiculous!

In all seriousness, nice paint job, looks great.

Why not paint the eject button? It doesn't go well with the...vibrance...of the rest.

the eject button is painted a metallic silver color, not the flat gray color of the original.
