Gamate

I ran accross an ad for a handheld called the Gamate while going through one of my old videogame magazines. I was wondering if anyone had seen this system and what their thoughts about it were if they had.

From the looks of it in the ad, it would have made a pretty good match for my collecting habits

Yeah, it´s a portable machine with LCD screen and some carts. If you look for in Google for ex, you will find some pics and extra info. It its not very popular and the games are worst than in the Watara Supervision.

Despite that, I'm still looking for Gamate titles I still need, so if you have or see any for sale, please let me know.

Oh yeah, that goes for Mega Duck and Cougar Boy too. I do even need a few Supervision titles yet too, though until I can get a have/want list online that's a crap shoot.

You can find a lot of stuff like this in Southamerica, try eBay Argentina or Brazil...

Yeah, I just missed out on a Cougar Boy lot -- it went for a lot more than I expected, so I wouldn't have been in the running if I'd tripled my bid! But I'm sure there are some bargains here and there.

More likely than checking out local SA eBays, I just need to change my saved searches to make sure they run for all countries...
