heh...
I went back and most of the 2600 games were gone. The person who bought the booth's stuff just threw things around, and I couldn't find several carts I'd set aside. But I got three games, though.
Today's additions were Guardian, Lost Luggage and Plaque Attack. All of those are for sale or trade.
At that same booth I found this game for a buck:
It -appears- to be complete, but it didn't have a manual. Knowing Vivendi, though, they probably didn't include one in the box to save money.
I also found this thing...
These look like sewing patterns for a Riccar sewing machine, but I can't find much information about these online. Does anyone know what these things are called? My English and Google-fu skills are failing me.
Today we went to a local auction, which was held outside. It was very hot. Anyway, all the stuff is just piled on tables willy-nilly. We were glancing through the stuff before the auction started, and we saw a large colorful box, which turned out to be an ADAM computer. The box was in superb shape. I opened it up, but I didn't know what was supposed to come with it. There was a printer, the computer itself, some super action controllers, and some pieces that looked like a super action controller molted. My wife decided that I was going to bid on it (I didn't want it, since I had a Colecovision way after the fact and gave it to TheSmirk). So we had to come back, because it was way down in the pile of stuff.
By the time we got back, I was psyched to get this thing, if only to trade away (I thought that even if it was broken, the box itself could be worth something). No one was lingering over it. There was a guy with an Atari shirt that worried me, but then he left. The moment came, and for some reason my heart started beating very rapidly. The auctioneer started at $10 and I raised my hand, but he didn't see me until he got down to $2. Then this old guy standing next to me raised his hand. I just kept my hand up until he got to $30, which was already $10 further than I wanted to go. The old guy kept his hand up too. He was making me angry. Then my wife raised her hand, and we got to $37 before giving up. I just couldn't see spending that much for maybe just a box. I imagine that the guy is a vendor at the flea market where the auction is located. I think I will go when it opens again to see if he has it there, and for how much.
Sorry it wasn't a happy ending, but this is the Finds thread, not the Purchases thread.

Craigslist find: Panasonic 3DO $5. It works even which is great.
There was a lot of video game related stuff at the flea market I visited this Sunday, and a lot of it was fairly priced too. But I have storage issues, so I can really only buy what I truly want/need ATM. I regret passing on that $20 NES with 2 controllers, zapper, and seven uncommon games in those hard plastic Nintendo cases the most though.
Cabal w/ sleeve (NES) - $5, couldn't talk the vendor down, but I've wanted this game for a long time now
Armored Core: Master of Arena (PS1) - $2, complete
Metroid Fusion, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Breath of Fire (GBA) - $7 each, complete, including promotional cards and the cart baggies
After that, I took a quick spin to the local mall and went into Circuit City. Imagine the surprise I found in the PSP section. Apparently Capcom has reprinted a bunch of their early releases. I picked up Capcom Classics Collection Remixed and Darkstalkers Chronicle: Tower of Chaos for $12.99 each
If you missed out on those two titles, or Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins, Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble, and Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, now's the perfect time to get them new & sealed and at a good price.
Today I received :
An N64 with 3 controllers, a steering wheel with pedals and 25 complete games
Most have a little wear on the corners, but only a little bit
Maybe expensive for your standards, but for me the 150$ I paid is a steal
Also received a Gamecube with 2 controllers and a total of 23 games for about as much.
Now just where to put it all...? Hmmm.
Finds from this weekend:
It's complete, even has 3 extra plastic dots (yes, I counted all 71 of them) paid $0.25 for it.
Tiny Toon Adventures: The Great Beanstalk (PS1): $1
Fire Blade CIB (Xbox): $0.50
NHL 2K6 CIB (Xbox): $0.10
2 boxed Competition PRO joysticks and Warlords (2600): $1
Beat up GameCube with non working controller port and two beat up controllers and all hookups for $5.
SEALED Game Boy Rechargeable Battery Pack/ AC Adapter: $5.
Super Mario Galaxy (CIB): $25.
All for $10.
I know every one likes to see pic's so how do you guys get the big pictures in the body of your posts. All I could figure out how to do is get thumbnails at the bottom. Anyway here it is...........
Yes this stuff is in my trunk. I went thrifting on my lunch break today and these are the goods. I am still at work.
First from Goodwill a NES Power Set for $12.99. It is just the box, foam, plastic, and power pad. The power pad seems not to have been used, but why would you use it?
Next from the Deseret Industries Thrift Store I got Marble Madness for Amiga for $1, and Double Dragon form Amiga for $2. And a 360 power brick from CD/Game Exchange for $40.
Then I stopped at Value Village and got a famiclone for $6.99. It is called the "fun learner". It is built into a keyboard, has AV outputs, came with 2 controllers and a lightgun. Also came with a multi-cart shaped like a n64 game. The instructions claim that Dr. Mario is an educational title.

From walmart- Universal USB Convertor. So you can use GC, PS2, and XBox contollers on computer. 3 bucks.
Seeing the board game reminds me that I need to get rid of the 2 Pac-Man board games I have.

No problem!
Heh. I hit McLoughlin every now and then, but not as often as 82nd (I live right off of 82nd though, so it's closer ).Only the amiga stuff is from 82nd. The other stuff is from Mcloughlin Blvd. I hit that more often than 82nd. Just happened to be on 82nd yesterday for my work. So don't worry too much. Just stay out of my way if you see me coming.
Ordered these about 2 weeks or less ago. Got them today.
Both for MVS
Garou: Mark of the Wolves - original english label
Waku Waku 7 - japanese cart, fake english label
total $74 shipped from china. they needed some cleaning...(still do..darn Yaton carts) but they work and that is cheap as hell. Heck, thats a decent price for Garou alone, XD
