I found Ikaruga complete for the Gamecube at a Gamestop. I've been looking there for it for 2 years, this was the second one I've seen. The first one had no manual and was $60. This one was $40, but better to spend that now than more later. I'm pretty sure GCN is on its way out at Gamestop, so I'm stocking up.

Very nice find. Quite possibly the best SNES find I've ever saw posted here.
Apparently the game never got a retail release and every copy that has been from the NOA warehouse. This find kinda makes me question that, because how would it get to gameshop without someone knowing the value of it?
I actually got my Exertainment/ Speed Racer from Ebay a few years ago, and then found a loose copy at a pawn shop about 2 years ago.
The part that plugged into the SNES for the exersize bike just sold on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-SNES-SUPER-...QQcmdZViewItem
finds for yesterday . Im really enjoying Alone in the dark , even though the controls & camera are fucked . seen the game fox hunt at a salvation army for 99 cents . it is a three disc set , but didnt have the original case or artwork . looked it up in the DP guide and it is a R8 . now i need to find the case .
also picked up the Guitar hero Ds bundle . I was mad because the only way to open the box was to rip it apart .
Castle Shikigami II (PS2) - new, $16.25AUD

I paid 36.72, I know a gamestop manager really well and he had it transfered to his store for me.
It's new.
Decent Xbox finds today at Circuit City:

2. Stubbs the Zombie - Brand new sealed - $8.96 (marked $49.99)
3. True Crime NYC - Brand new sealed - $4.96 (marked $19.99)
4. Need For Speed Most Wanted BLACK Edition - new sealed $16.96 (marked $59.99)
Not bad, and it makes me want to head back and ask for more items to be price scanned for me!

To all you members of Digital Press, heed my words!
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT walk home from work for an hour and a half in 80 degree humid weather while carrying a boxed Commodore 64C console. Even if you did get it for $10.08. Trust me, it is not worth it. Thank God the handle was intact. Stupid work rules of making you buy your stuff before Friday or it gets put out for sale! Can anyone tell me what I am missing and how much what I have is valued at? As you can see, everything is unopened. I think I am missing the joystick.

Battletoads With Instructions & Generic Case
Metroid II With Case
$4
This is a good example of the kind of people I (or I should say everyone) hate(s) dealing with at yardsales. Found a small plastic bin with a Gameboy Color marked $5 and about 20 some Gameboy, Gameboy Color games each marked $3 with initials on each. I didn't think it was going to work but I picked up the whole thing and offered $10 which was refused. Lady pretty much replied saying that if they don't sell (and wouldn't let it for cheapish like I offered) that her son was just going to give them away to a friend instead to which I said he wasen't going to make a lot of money doing so She basicly said that the friend was poor (for a lack of a more polite way of putting it) and tried telling me that these games are still $20 in stores to which I disagreed and said that she must be getting them confused with GBA or NDS games. I then offered a buck a game for a few of them to which she said she'd meet me half way at $2 and I just grabbed 2. I left behind a few good ones Zelda DX, Tetris and I think Pokemon Yellow and Blue. I actually went back to this sale just before 10 AM since I decided I should have grabbed Zelda DX at $2 when I noticed my copy had some label damage and figured I should also grab the Pokemon games only to see that all of the Gameboy stuff was gone. I figured that either some old lady picked everything up for about $20-30 for a youngster in the family or they just brought the stuff inside if it wasen't selling and only getting lower then wanted offers, hopefully to give to the kid's friends if that wasen't a lie.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
7.75
Got to this sale at about 8:45 and was kind of surprised that this stuff was still around as this sale started at 7. I rarely if ever find anything 16-bit or older at yardsales without a system so the games were probably having a harder time selling then they should have not having a system with them. Haggled a little bit and ended up at 7.50 for everything but the Madden games that I left behind. Has I was leaving I said I didn't grab them as I figured I'd never play them but asked if they wanted to get rid of the 3 Madden games left behind which the guy said I could also take them for another .25. I didn't even notice a sign hanging down on table that said .50 a game as the games were piled up at the one corner and the sign was over on the corner across from the games. Looking at some of these manuals makes me wonder if they had more games especially some of these SNES games for sale that might have sold earlier such as Mario Kart, World, All*Stars and the DKC games but it's hard to imagine somebody buying games like those but leaving behind Yoshi's Island wich was right on top in the open. This is actually the first time I've seen Yoshi's Island and Mega Man in the wild in years and I was happy to get the Mega Man manuals as I didn't have any of the NES Mega Man manuals in my collection and not to mention that the original Mega Man is my favorite Mega Man game, probably partly nostagia as I had it when it first came out years ago.
It should also be noted that the guy and girl running this sale were younger probably about 25-30 and I seem to have better luck most of the time at yardsales with younger people over soccer moms (like the lady with the GameBoy stuff today) selling junior's stuff as they seem to be the ones trying usually to make some money around my area and not just hoping to get rid of stuff that's never used.
non find BS stories
The lady running a sale on Friday told me that her husband had a Sega Saturn and a few games he was selling for $10 when I asked about video games. She didn't know where they were and didn't offer to look for them but instead asked me to come back tomarrow (Saturday). I got to the sale about 5 minutes before 8 and they had noticably less stuff out then they did on Friday so I figured they might still be setting up and I'd give it a few minutes. I walked around the corner to another sale then came back only to be told that her husband just sold the system. I though it was kind of rude as she probably could have held it for me for at least a half hour to an hour since I showed interest in it the day before and bothered to come back to their sale. I do kind of wonder if they changed their mind about selling it at their yardsale and told me a little white lie about selling it.
I asked about video games at one sale and the 50 something lady told me that she had an NES system with games that she wanted to get rid of but didn't bring it with her as she didn't know what it was worth and before I could politely ask doing the number thing she said that she was planning on starting an eBay store so I figured no reason to even bother trying to make an offter on it as this kind of person will probably be scared to let it go not knowing what it's worth even if I made a reasonable offter considering the trouble she'd be saving compared to selling something like this online. She also said that she had an Atari around. I can't help but wonder if this is what people I leave my number with think and never call back as they decide that an old system they never use and don't want might be worth so much and they don't want to part with it for anything less then that ball park figure. I haven't seen the Genesis from last week on eBay so I think that some of these people that have an old system they wouldn't mind selling don't want to let it go too cheap yet they are too lazy to ever get around to all of the work it takes to sell it online so they end up just keeping it
Flea Market 6-21-08
Bases Loaded 3 - $1
Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat - $1
Mario Tennis (Complete) (GBC) - $4
Beyond the Mat-Special Edition (Unrated) (VHS) - .50
Asking price for the games IIRC was 2, 2, 5. Beyond the Mat's IAP was .50 and obviously isn't gaming related but I figured I'd throw it in the picture since I really didn't have much to show from this past Sunday. I haven't seem the one guy that (used to?) sell at this flea market this year and it's probably because of gas since he lives almost 2 hours away which is too bad as I've bought a healthy amount of games from him that I haven't seen anywhere else in the wild around me over the last few years and on days like this that I see little to nothing new from other sellers I would always be able to buy a few games from said seller to make the lesser days more worthwhile. I think this flea market may die from the gas prices in 2 or so years if gas keeps going up. In previous years on a nice day all or most of the tables would be taken, this year even on a perfect day it seems as if 20-25% of the tables are empty.
