i was at the one earlier this year and it was fun. it was a little cramped but i enjoyed myself.
We're gonna try to get a couple sponsors to eqiup our lounge. Next week we're beginning our major sponsor attack, we'd like to get Lovesac to bring a bunch of their gear to the show, they have really cool furniture that I think gamers would love to check out and add to their game rooms.
I am planning on being there again. This time I will have a bigger shopping list since last time I didn't find anything that I was looking for. Last time I was #6 in line, do I dare try to be first?

I heard complaints of the being allowed in 1hr early not being honored and organized at the last event, if you had pre-paid. Will this be rectified this time around?
I'm looking to attend for the first time, and it's a trip.
Don't know exactly what you mean. Standard open time was 11:00. Those who had preregistered were lined up starting around 9:30 and we were let in a few minutes after 10:00. We were funneled over to the ticket booth to pick up our badges and in we went. No problem.

Doors opened at like 10:05, everyone who pre-registered got right in, sure there was a bottleneck while we dug out the namebadges, but we're rectifying that by mailing out the VIP pre-reg packages this time around. Every show we learn from our mistakes and try to fix them. No show is without flaws, those who don't learn from them are the ones to avoid. 8*)
I'm looking forward to going...Will Justin Wong be there!?
I can only hope Justin Wong will be there, but hopefully there aren't any crazy-sign breaking fanboys there to stand behind and praise him.
I definitely plan on going again and intend to have another great time. Also, it's great news to hear that we are in a bigger convention hall because at times it was a little cramped.
I was listening to the Gamebot Live podcast, they were at the last show and had a podcast about it. They mentioned that the guy selling boxed 2600 games in sleeves was there again, and that made me sad that I missed that. I hope he will be there for this one!

I'll try to make it out this time. From what I have heard from others it sounds like an awesome time!
It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce we're postponing TooManyGames 7 until next year. I'm having some personal issues which are preventing me from getting any necessary convention work done. My crew has tried convincing me to continue planning the show for this fall, but in all honesty I just don't have it in me right now. I would much rather put on an awesome show next year than a half-assed and forgettable event this fall.
We will make an annoucement about the next event as soon as I have a new date scheduled. I apologize to anyone who already made plans to attend the event and I hope no time or money will be lost as a result of the postponement of the event.
I hope everything works out okay for you Chuck. I will just look forward to next year's edition that much more! Take care!
