Will we see Doom II on XBLA?

Is there any chance that we'll see Doom II on XBLA? I love playing Doom with the Xbox 360 controller.

I've got the Doom 3: Collector's Edition, which comes with Ultimate Doom and Doom 2, but I'd prefer an xbox 360 version because it would include xbox live multiplayer and achievements.

DOOM II would have been perfect by now. I wonder what happened to the promise of Duke Nukem 3D and Quake 3?

Duke Nukem was just a pipe dream of 3D realms. Microsoft doesn't seem to be real fond of their track record for release dates...

Last I heard 3D Realms wasn't porting Duke 3D, some other company was.

All XBLA games are put in a release queue. They have to wait their turn to be released, which is why Bionic Commando Rearmed is finished and ready to go but not out yet.

Doom 2 and Quake 3 were rated by the ESRB for the XBLA so maybe they're in the queue.

I don't really care about Quake 3 since it's got no single player mode to speak of but I'm excited about the possibility of Doom II.

Actually, I still need to finish the last mission of Ultimate Doom on XBLA. Thy Flesh Consumed is kind of a bitch (in a fun way).
