You won't believe what some people offer for crap. My brother just sold a set of armor for $250. Someone even offered $7,000 on the highest level character in the game(1.5 years ago). The idiot didn't take the money.

back in the heyday of Everquest, it was pretty common to see a high level account go for anywhere from five grand to thirty grand. Yes, I said thirty thousand dollars, US currency.

I could never get into EQ, but I did enjoy making near $1000 US off of items in Diablo II online. Heh.
