Capcom's latest port: Dead Rising for Wii

Wasn't there supposed to be a PC port of Dead Rising? Damn ignorant, arrogant Capcom.

It was on the Wii though. The company is only ignorant, arrogant if they ignore both. One or the other is alright. That's the impression I got from the other thread.

Although I was joking, I seriously wanted a PC port (of the 360 version).

I bought this on day 1 but didnt get to play it until Saturday. Maybe it's because I didn't play the original and don't know what I'm missing but I think it's pretty damn good. I almost returned it without even trying because of all the bad buzz, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I'm not sure 100% of the critique is warranted. Sure it has less zombies than the 360, but I never find myself unable to find something to kill. It's a fun game so far.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it, but if you ever do get a 360 I urge you to try that version and see what you think then. I haven't played the Wii port but I can't imagine the game being the same without all of the zombies.
