Groovy stuff. I'm always a sucker for these kind of lists, and I'm really impressed with what everyone's throwing down. Right now, I'm going to list my personal 'Top Ten,' and later I'll highlight a few titles that might be getting overlooked.

To answer a few questions posed so far:

-YES, PC games are fine to use.

-YES, these can be your "favorite games". You aren't just ANYONE, you know. The fact that you're here says you're a bit hardcore and more "in the know" than the average gamer, even if you don't think so.

The list might look a little disjointed at first but once we have the giant list in place we can start making cases for why certain games "belong" there and others do not. These are issues that certain other lists don't seem to debate.
