Default American Laser Games Light Gun for the Sega CD

I didn't see this in the database, nor knew it existed until I saw it (and won it) off of eBay. Any idea as to its value & it can be added to the list...

    Here's a pic -

Wow, I've never seen one of those before. At first I thought it was just the 3DO gun with the Mad Dog game thrown in, but the box clearly says "Sega CD" on it.

Where is the seller from? USA?

Yeah, the seller is actually from my home state of Rhode Island. I bought a nice copy of Crime Patrol off of him & I saw that in another of his auctions. So far I can't find anything else online, though I'm sure that I'm missing something...

Note:I did find the 3DO version, though nothing about the Sega CD one...

That picture brings back memories of literally dozens of those guns - NIB - sitting on local thrift store shelves back around the year 2000.

American Laser Games, you see, was actually founded and headquartered here in Albuquerque. Around the time they folded up and sold out, all of their excess inventory was dumped off at Thrift Town - Lots of those guns and more Mad Dog McCree CD's for PC and Genesis than you could shake a six-shooter at.

I should have grabbed a few when I had a chance. But hindsight is 20/20, and I was neither much of a Genny fan back then, nor did I really realize or appreciate Albuquerque's particular contribution to the videogame industry at the time.

As for the current rarity - I couldn't say, but I bet I could dig up a few loose ones on the cheap ($5 - $10) at the local shops.

Since it's common around Albequerque and not much in other states I would put the rarity at maybe a R5 and a value of $5-10. I'm sure Joe will add this to the database when he sees it.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

Well, according to your post here - I guess you didn't have any luck in getting the AML Gun (good find on the 2nd Justifer,BTW) So,while I wouldn't presume to put a rarity value on it,it might be higher than a R5. Just my opinion, mind you
