Default Can being near speakers/stereos damage a Vectrex?

This is a question of paranoia, but I'm curious to ask if anyone has any knowledge/experience with this. I'm moving things around on my desk/storage area, and was considering putting the nectrex on ym desk. The space it would go into would have it next to the main control part of a stereo(with my PC sub woofer on top of it), and one of it's speakers (which also has a computer speaker on top of it), like this:

[w] [sp] spacing on this is messed up, the two [sp] should align, nothing is on top of the vectrex.
    [s][v][sp]

Now, none of this is very intense sound system or anything, in fact they are pretty cheap and like 7+ years old. But it's one thing if a PC monitor develops problems from it, quite another if I break my vectrex. So the question is, is having this equipment sitting next to each other and operating going to in any way damage my Vectrex?

Strong magnets (like those found in speaker cabinets) can damage a CRT screen ... not sure about a vector screen.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of...after thinking about it overnight I've decided to not risk it. But if anyone knows lots about this subject and would like to enlighten us, please do, as I would still be interested in knowing.
