Updated: Moved sold items to the end of the list.
Here's some stuff I want to clear out. I included some prices for reference, but they're VERY negotiable. I want to get rid of this stuff! Buyer pays shipping. I take PayPal or money orders. PM me with questions or offers. Trades are welcome. Here a few things I'm looking for:
- Xbox console (will trade handsomely for one that's already modded)
- 2600 games I don't have
- ANYTHING Odyssey2-related I don't already have (there's not much...)
- Videopac stuff
- GBA Gunstar Super Heroes
- Saturn shmups (Japanese OK)
- Dreamcast shmups
- Crisis Force and a few other Famicom games
- Bust-A-Move games for most systems
- Co-op games for PS2, Wii, Saturn,
- 5200 "Redemption" controller
- Etc. (send your lists)
Atari 2600
* Demon Attack cart only - $1
* Worship the Woodgrain 4 CD set - $10
ATARI 5200
* 2600 Cartridge Adaptor - I haven't been able to get this to work in my 5200, but I suspect that it may just need cleaning. AS-IS! - $5
* WICO Joystick, with Y-cable - NOT entirely functional! The joystick "sort of" works, but it's not responsive in all directions and has a tendency to move in certain directions without being pushed. The Y-cable also doesn't work properly. I tested it on a working Wico stick and did not get full functionality. This lot is being offered for parts only. - $5
* Three Atari 5200 joysticks, all NOT functional. I suspect you could rebuild all of these with a new flex-circuit, but no guarantees. Sold for parts only - $10 for all three
GAME BOY
* TV de Advance Japanese adapter - play Game Boy on TV - $40- HOLD for abc_kid
This adapter works with the original Game Boy Advance handheld (NOT the SP!). This device was released in Japan shortly after the GBA first hit the market, well before the Game Boy Player adapter came out for the GameCube. By using the included mini-screwdrivers, you have to open up your GBA, remove the back, insert the ribbon cable of the TV de Advance
unit, and reassemble the unit. Then, you will be able to connect your GBA to a TV using a composite or S-Video connection and play the games on the big screen! The TV de Advance has a toggle to switch between widescreen and normal format. It was released in Japan only -- you don't see many of them in the U.S.
I used this adapter to play GBA games for about a year, so I can vouch that it works. However, the picture you get with it is slightly off -- dark colors tend to appear somewhat more blue than they should. The installation is somewhat tricky as well, but once done, it shouldn't have to be done again unless you unseat the ribbon cable -- and you can still use the GBA as a portable after installation. The unit was working the last time I used it over a year ago, but the power supply is somewhat flaky. It's Japanese, and the power requirements seem somewhat different than what is supplied by American outlets. I recommend using a universal power supply with adjustable voltage, which seemed to work better for me.
This lot includes the complete package -- TV de Advance adapter, mini-screwdrivers for opening the unit, documentation (which is in Japanese, but the pictures are understandable even if you can't read it), and original box. It even includes the outer plastic packaging shell.
* Original b&w Game Boy system, in box. I bought this new on 5/22/1994 and played it for years, before finally upgrading to the GBA and finally, Game Boy Player. I misplaced the original docs but I do still have the original box. - $15
* Game Boy Advance - system in original box - again, this was my personal GBA, which I no longer need now that I have the Game Boy Player. I kept everything in good condition. Comes with GameCube connector cable - $20
* Game Boy Advance e-Reader system - in original unopened package (I never got around to trying it!) - comes with unopened Donkey Kong and Clu-Clu Land card packs - $20
