Question Old SNES shows picture but fades quickly

    Hi!

I have an old PAL SNES which apparently still works. It boots up normally (video and audio present), but quickly the picture starts to fade to almost black (you can still very slightly see the picture in it's brighter areas). The sound is fine though.

Has this ever happened to anyone? What can I do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a capacitor failing. Do you have a multimeter with capacitor testing?
