Okay, so I opened my Virtual Boy and tried to get the totally black right screen to work by taping the connector and ribbons to get a more secure connection, but it still doesn't work. I have no idea where to go from here.

Put the guts of your VB in an oven.
For starters you could make your topic name clear so people who would know how to help you can see what it's about without having to open the thread itself first.
